The sign in Bernardsville NJ used to say "please drive slow. We have many children but none to spare ." They must have updated it. (no longer live that area).

When I worked at The Anaheim Theme Park, the speed limit backstage was 14mph. The rationale was that people didn’t pay attention to posted limits ending in “5” or “0”.
