Friends that you can trust, and can trust you, is more valuable than all the stuff we’re told to pack in our bug out bags, pantries, and gun vaults. Trusted friends are anchors of preparedness. Neighbors can be our wildcard.

The neighbors and we have been sharing our garden veggies as they are harvested. Nothing goes to waste.

Patriot groups are adding prepping group subsections. The Cloward-Piven goal of destroying Western institutions and replacing society with a socialist totalitarian society is impractical and guaranteed to fail. A societal collapse will require prepared individuals and groups voluntarily acting in their mutual self interest to resurrect civilization; totalitarian government can only manage a decline.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13

“Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.” From the Movie ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008)

“I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship; but it is not this day! An hour of woe, and shattered shields, when the Age of Men comes crashing down; but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!” From the Movie ‘The Return of The King’ (2003)

In my bag there’s a bible to show me the way,
Through my twelfth year on earth and to Heaven some day.
I will shoulder my musket and brandish my sword,
In defence of this land and the word of the Lord.

ALISON KRAUSS song ‘Bright Sunny South’

In 2010 my brother planted some peas and okra intending to share withhis neighbors. He shelled the pes called his neighbors and none were interested tn stopping by to pick them up. When the okra was ready, he picked and informed his neighbors. Again, no one was interested. He an I eventually pu them in our freezers. We came to the conclusion that most people just did not give a damn, If they can’t get it from the government, or have to do a little work for it, to hell with it.

We’ve got quite a good group here.A neighbor who has his own construction company, two RNs,plenty of farmers, welders, carpenters, and pretty much any other useful skill that you can think of.And we’re armed to the teeth.

I’d rather be good with a rifle and bad with an RN, but that’s just me. How lucky’d that be!?!

Every true thing that others know, but you don’t know is an unknown known.

I could do with a few good neighbors. Mine are morons. Even the yard man (no, we’re our own yard guys) says they have no sense. I’ve lived here all my life and there used to be great neighors. Now days, it’s all a bunch of hoity toity outsiders and libs who have moved in and taken over. Most are weekenders so my only hope is they get blogged down in the city.

Or maybe they just don’t like peas and okra. My husband won’t touch peas and the whole family is iffy on okra.
