Excellent movie

“Jeremiah Johnson” starring Robert Redford. (Not exactly sure if it qualifies as “action”.)

It definitely does. A great flick. Even if it had Redford in it.

You beat me to it on “The Man who would be King”. Also on my list: “Witness”, Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Blade Runner”.

Also, “Ride with the Devil” (a great little known Civil War pic), and “Braveheart”, and “The Patriot”.

Ronin was one of my favorite all time movies of any genre. The trade under the bridge. Classic. And...what color WAS the boat house, anyway?

That was a good one. The remake (Sorcerer) was good too.

I loved “The Last of the Mohicans”. Just about anything with Daniel Day Lewis in it. Also loved him in “The Unbearable Lightness of Being”, and “Gangs of New York”.

How did you think Jewel was in that? I saw the trailer but haven’t rented it yet...sounds like a good one though.

Ronin - Probably the second greatest car chase scene behind Bullitt.

“How did you think Jewel was in that? I saw the trailer but haven’t rented it yet...sounds like a good one though.”

I thought she did a great job, especially as she was a novice in films. She was perfect for her part. The more you get into the movie, the more you like it. A little known sleeper that should have gotten noticed more when it came out. Really an excellent movie. Different than what I expected. And a part of Civil War history I knew next to nothing about.
