French jokes are a good way to generate laughter. For example:

Q. What is the bestselling book in France?
A. A Farewell to Arms

Q. What is the French national anthem?
A. "I Surrender, Dear"

Q. Why did Euro Disney in Paris halt its firework shows?
A. Because every time they have a fireworks display, the French try to surrender.
