Work has transported me to the Phoenix metroplex, Glendale and Surprise to be exact.
What is happening here? People have told me it gets hot sometimes.
Do you guys in AZ have politics or guns?

LOL! I forgot about Max the GSD and his bowling ball. Thanks.
I now have a pair of Bichon Frise puppies who are chewing up the furniture in the next room.

Ohh, so sad to hear you're the very last ......and now you're gone.
Come July, you'll be thinking of all the coooooil KC fountains, lovely green lawns and beautiful trees of Kansas City and get homesick; then in January, when you're basking in 60 degrees and hearing of our beautiful snow and ice, maybe not so.

I plan to retire in about two years or less. I will still have a small vacation house at the Lake of the Ozarks, so when it is the hottest here I will be in the water in a nice shady cove off the Osage arm. I probably will spend forty percent of my time there.
I have got to get a high mileage vehicle for all the road trips here and between I plan to make.

If you’re a Royal’s fan you get to catch some spring training down there.

Super! No place like lazy, hazy days at the Lake!
Send me a private "head's up" and I'll try to catch you for a cup of coffee some time!

Here in the Tucson area you can get from desert to mountaintop in 90 minutes.

Bob Avery seems like a likely frequent visit.

When you and your old man come up here, come say hi. Also if you are at Luke, let me know.

I am still pissed at the brush off they gave Frank White. A finer man never wore their uniform. He was gracious even when discarded.

Arizona is right-to bear-arms friendly and you are not required to beg for government permission to carry a firearm openly or discreetly.
The group that got this done is the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL): http://www.azcdl.org .

HA!
Welcome back!
Unfortunately, you are moving to the liberal part of the State.

I don’t live there, but go get your car windows tinted now. And make sure your home and auto A/C is fully up to snuff.

Ha ha!
I lived in Havasu when it hit 128 degrees in 1994.
Stepped outdoors only once to get the mail. I noticed the streets seemed to be melting.
