Meh. 1932 and 1943-era films are not my speed. I can stomach zombie comedies but I like it best if the genre is treated seriously.

It is so silly to take a fantasy seriously. Since zombies are already dead and rotted they can’t be really killed, so you break them down by destroying their support system. their skeleton.

Think a slug in the pelvic area taking out their backbone and legs. Or you can kneecap them with a rifle. That is how you put down a zombie.

Then out comes the kerosene and light them up.

I heard on the News today that Homeland security is using tax dollars to train their agents in Zombie Killing, in preparation for the Apocalypse. No Joke! I really DID hear it, but I was driving and couldn’t write anything down as to the source.

If you watch The Walking Dead, you see how the fantasy can actually be realistic. A viral infection, like menegitis in it can penetrate the blood-brain barrier. However, unlike menegitis, it stimulates and awakens the extreme reptilian brain ONLY. Just the movement-senses-hunger section.
