they left early to avoid the rush...
almost 18 hrs until zero-time.
The Mayan calendar is 26,000 years long. They just didn’t get around to publishing the next year’s calendar before their civilization fell.
I hope it truly is the end of the world as I’ve put off all my Christmas shopping. Why bother, right?
Them Mayans better not screw me over. Otherwise I’ll be Amazoning all day Sunday.
(Whaddya mean no next day delivery??)
Somebody posted a link on a 12/20 end of world thread about a month ago to a site of globalists who, in their statements, seemed to have something planned to significantly further their one-world-govt agenda.
If you are that poster, or know of the link, could you post it here?
[would like to re-visit it during the day and next few days, looking for egg-on-face, crow to be eaten, hat to be eaten, etc]
I thought “scientists” had decided that Mayans didn’t account for leap years, so the end of the world date passed several years ago...
They made no prediction; rather just stated the end of a cycle. Looking at the world today, I think they were dead right. What has happened to family values, traditional gender roles, individualism, religion in life and schools, personal responsibility, take care of your own, self-initiative, etc.? It appears to me a transition to Marxist and secularist values has occurred. Perhaps the pendulum will swing back in the next cycle, perhaps not (which would mean the End Times), but I think they were right on. The exact day of the calendar change (tomorrow) has no real importance. It was actually the past 50 years or so that the great civilization based on Judeo-Christian values wrapped up.
Too late. The world has ended on the other side of the Pacific.
09:34:06 Thursday December 20, 2012 in America/Los_Angeles converts to 01:34:06 Friday December 21, 2012 in Hongkong
I believe in their mythology, they also predicted the date of their own civilizations demise pretty accurately.
Wait a minute (that’s all that’s left).
Does the end come on the 21st or is that the last day and it actually ends sometime on the 22nd. I would like to get this straight so that I can continue with my last minute planning. As you can imagine, there is a lot of things to get done before the end. cleaning, put the dog out, pay bills, etc.
I assume (dangerous, I know) that the end date/time will be Mayan Central Time (MCT) and not based on Greewich Mean Time (GMT). It would be good to know who is going to be destroyed first and then later. Again, Planning, etc.
Anyone have any good suggestions as to what is really going on. This does not seem to be a well thought out and planned event. Too many loose ends. My first mother-in-law should have been put in change of the planning and all of these details would have been worked out.
I tried calling Hong Kong and nobody answered. All I got was a Barbara Streisand recording, so I’m pretty sure we’re goners.
The time of Solstice which will be at 0612 EST Friday
It has nothing to do with 12/21 it has to do with the time of the Solstice.
So tha will be 0312 here in CA. Good! I will be asleep and miss the whole thing.Probably will make my dog to bark and want to go outside.
