After reading the thread, I'm pretty sure that was a '/s'.
I don’t think that, but they should have been fined to he77 & back. There’s a lot more at stake than littering (grassfires). & I say this as a smoker.
I hate reading this. Seeing troopers has always made me feel safer, not apprehensive.
I don’t think this was the first time this female officer performed this “procedure”, it looked like a well practiced routine and methodical. Then there’s the alleged missing medication. Have to think these two cops are involved off-duty.
Because there wasn't a dentist around to do it?
Had the two been carrying, cop should have been forced to her knees and double-tapped on the spot.
Well, right now there probably thinking "Why couldn't we have pulled over someone with a "vicious" Golden Labrador that needed shooting...."

The male officer searched their car without consent......With NO probable cause. Criminal charges should be put against the hot dog who pulled them over and suspension for the broad who followed illegal orders.
That's a 'good first step'. It must go further than this.
Public servants, particularly police officers and judges, are given enormous authority to stop, detain, harass and annoy the citizen. They are given this authority so they can find and bring to trial criminals who injure the citizen.
Public servants who abuse this authority, EVEN ONCE, absolutely must be punished so severely that they will NEVER have an opportunity to do it again, and that their fellow officers would quake in fear at even the thought of doing it.
If you throw butts out, you should be searched!.....And gather the evidence, and blood type it and present it before a court. I doubt any real PEACE officer would do so for a $25.00 fine.
The hot dog should be fired, he had NO probable cause, the bitch he asked for assistance should be put on the street for 30 or 60 days and retrained (she was just following orders, like the Nazi’s) and Texas should pay about a half a million to each of the CITIZENS who were victimized and laughed about in the cop breakroom.

If you recall, less than a century ago, it was understood the federal government couldn't outlaw booze without a constitutional amendment granting them that power.

Watching the video id is apparent quickly that the female cop is a lesbian and she is called to thelocation for a job perk.
I agree, but I think they both should be fired. Or at least grounded to a desk job. Having read the rumor that she was gay, I wonder if she was actually following orders or was able to force the other officer to pimp for her (or whatever situation that would be). If he was serious, he should have had to arrest them & take them to a substation to be searched. That would have at least brought other officers into play, so might have been a deterrent.
But what do I know? I really don’t think that women should be street officers.
I hate what people like Janet Napolitano & Eric Holder have done to our country.
I especially hate the thought that Texas might not be impervious to their kind of LE.
I have a high opinion of DPS. My husband works with them a lot on his job. It’s sickening that this will tarnish their image to people.
This is an area I am not well versed in....so I won’t argue with you. My comment about “the tactics” had more to do with things like asset forfeitures, mandatory sentencing requirments, etc.
