My cat often brings me little “gifts,” many of which are still alive!

That’s a stock pic, not the cat in question.
Still a pretty kitty, though.

I like the thoughts behind those “gifts” — the gifts themselves, not so much...especially if I get an Express Delivery while I’m still in bed trying to sleep!

You’re right...that’ll teach me to read the cutline first! I thought it was a photo of the actual kitty.

Ooops...posted wrong link to photo. Here's the pic: Apparently you weren't the only one to get the picture wrong. The site used a "file" photo of a cat which didn't match Toldo's description -- a grey-and-white three-year-old tomcat.

My first thought was, jeez, twigs, toothpicks, leaves.....
couldn’t he have brought something the guy could USE?????
Then my 2nd thought was——”Awwwwwwww...”
To: TrueKnightGalahad
That’s not the same cat. In fact, the story is very vague and doesn’t add anything in the way of photos of the true cat.......

Um... the guy’s dead. What could he use? lol!
To: momtothree
I KNOW he was dead.
It was just my own Italian sick humor, based on
crushingly obvious irony.

My cat would actually bring home his own “pets,” and release them in the house. Little mice would get good meals from whatever morsels happened to drop on the floor by the frig (behind which he lived) and he’d get caught again occasionally only to be let go again unharmed.

What a beautiful Cali!
The only reason animals can’t/won’t talk to us is because they know too much. Dogs can smile and lick your face, cats can purr and sleep with you at night, and other animals will follow you absolutely everywhere. And why? Because they know things we don’t know, and can see things we can’t see.
But they KNOW!!! And are smug about it. Look around you and tell me I’m wrong. ;o]
