I was noticing that too. Who picked those teams: 4 guys and Cochran versus 2 guys and 3 girls???
He sure doesn't know how to use an immunity idol. Since he knew that they were gunning for Reynold, he should have kept his mouth shut and told Reynold to play his ii, while the four of them vote for Andrea.
Even if the FAVs split their vote, there would have been a good chance that Andrea would have been eating maccaroni at the Ponderosa, Eddie or no Eddie.
They screen for headcases. That’s what makes the show fun.
I want Cochran and Philip in the finale, just for the joy of hearing them argue before the jury. That would be great TV.

Is it just me or did Michael seem more gay once he arrived at the Ponderosa? I honestly didn’t even know he was gay until Corine did her little ‘I love gays’ thing.
Michael’s high was the MALE BONDING ON THE REWARD:
“As they enjoy the food, they toast and say Men. They love the fact that there are no women at the reward so they can just be themselves....Michael suggests that the five of them form an all-guy alliance and go to the end together.”
Now he’s over at the Ponderosa waiting for the men to arrive.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)

The previews are probably misleading. Dawn just has island fever but she’ll get over it.
Eddie, Reynold, and Malcom are at risk. The one who wins the immunity challenge will be safe. The other two will face a split vote from the FANs. Malcom will play his hidden immunity idol if he doesn’t win the immunity challenge — so he’s safe tonite no matter what.
Andrea will probably lobby to keep her romantic interest around — even though she has to know that he had been shacking up with another blond before their merge.
My guess is that Reynold, with no hii or romantic interest, will be eating crabcakes at the Ponderosa tonite with Michael.
My Tivo description of the episode throws a possible plot complication into the mix, but there have been red herrings before. I will find out tonight just how accurate that one key word they used was. I will post the word after the episode airs.
Best Tribal Council EVER!!! I laughed all the way through it. This one will go down in the history of Survivor.
That was good but color me suspicious: Since when are there two hiis after the merge???
Phillip irritates Jeff by not participating in the immunity challenge.
Afterwards Malcom, who has an hii, says he’s going to look for an hii, so he can play his tonite and then have another one for next week.
Then voila, at TC Malcolm then decides to be gratuitious, totally out of character, and instead of keeping the second one for next week, he gives it to Eddie so all three can have immunity and send Phillip, who irritated Jeff by not participating in the immunity challenge, to the Ponderosa to then ponder why there was a second hidden idol that did him in.
Somehow between last week and this week Malcom had some counseling on “idols” — the who, what, when, where, and how of them. He had a little divine help and divine inspiration — that divinity being Jeff Probst
I doubt there will be two hidden immunity idols in play next week.
The looks on their faces at tribal when Malcolm pulled out 2 idols was hysterical and then all the scrambling on who to vote for while sitting there. Classic.
Buh bye Phillip. Go play stealth r us with Michael.
An accident threatens a contestants future in the game. A big revelation pushes an alliance into chaos.
We know Dawn had the accident which wasn't what I thought of. I figured one was going to get hurt. The big revelation we all know happened at tribal. That was good seeing them squirm.
I agree.
While it didn’t improve the 3 bro guys alliance much long term it sure did spin up the Magnificent Seven at TC.
Some priceless looks at TC last night.
Six still outnumbers three - so Cochran has to step up and start herding cats.
I thought for sure it would have been paranoia
That was good seeing them squirm.
It would have been better if the three amigos hadn't announced who they were voting for. That would have been a real scramble. As it was, either Malcom or Eddie or Phillip were going to the pond. No one else really had to worry. And even Eric voted for Phillip.
In a sense they did the FAVs a favor by getting rid of an irritant who cleans himself in pools rather than showers, but won't participate in a water challenge [Didn't he participate in the Last Gasp???].
They also got rid of one of Cochran's two competitors on the FAVs and they still have the numbers to spare.
We're three weeks from the FC -- has no one figured out that Cochran is really in charge??
That still leaves numbers as 5 - 4, but that four has the greater possibility of earning immunity and the best chance of finding a hidden immunity idol. For the weakest members of the Fav alliance, jumping ship and coasting to final two or three with the guys might sound like a great temptation.
However, the ‘three amigos’ have painted a huge target on their back - Survivors tend to try to break up alliance pairs as soon as they are discovered, and now you have an open alliance that looks aimed squarely at the final three - hard to entice someone on board for the number 4 slot, or worse, the number 5 slot. Most of the survivors are still trying to make it to the final 3 themselves, and if there looks like there's no opening, the amigos might have shut the door that will not re-open.
Jeff didn't read that 10th vote -- so they won't know that it was for Phillip unless Eric or the cameraman tells them. It appears that the producers arrange the reading of the votes now for dramatic and strategic purposes.
Jeff Probst has verified that they do arrange the votes for dramatic effect.
Reward challenge winners: Cochran, Dawn, Phillip, Reynold
Immunity challenge winner: Reynold
Enil Edam (merged tribe - green buffs): Andrea, Brenda, Cochran, Dawn, Eddie, Erik, Malcolm, Reynold, Sherri
Jury: Michael, Phillip
Eliminated: Allie, Brandon, Corinne, Francesca, Hope, Julia, Laura, Matt, Shamar
Immunity Idol status: Currently, no one has an idol. Malcolm, who already had an idol, found another idol. At tribal council, he gave Eddie one of the idols. They both played their idols.
