Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites is the 26th season of Survivor. It begins February 13, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two hour episode.
As with last season, this season takes place in Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
Bikal Tribe (favorites - purple buffs): Andrea, Brandon, Brenda, Cochran, Corinne, Dawn, Erik, Francesca, Malcolm, Phillip
Gota Tribe (fans - orange buffs): Allie, Eddie, Hope, Julia, Laura, Matt, Michael, Reynold, Shamar, Sherri

Wow, what a list of favorites, or more along the lines of ‘familiars.’ I can’t see one on that list I’d be in a hurry to hope would win. The fans? I see a few likely candidates. I guess the more popular Survivors have learned to follow the steps of another and demand compensation for their appearance.
Let’s see... A season of bickering vs Survivor fans without a clue. I hope the challenges are in a better location than a rice paddy this time around.
There are two seasons per year. The first season began in 2000.
Which survivor demanded compensation for his appearance? I don’t remember.
The general location is the same as last season although they might be on different beaches.
It’ll be a homecoming for Malcom. He probably never left the islands after last season.
"Favorites" is a bit of stretch kind of like "stars" in Dancing with the Stars.
Most of those returning I never liked the first time. I doubt many of the 10 fans liked any of them either.
And why was one person returning the first person voted out & then eliminated in their season? I would have preferred seeing Miss Teen Utah Angie Layton.
In my role as Survivor fan #5 I seldom if ever say anything negative about any of my Survivor peeps.
But in this venue I feel like make a rare critical observation.
This team of favorites will be destroyed in my opinion. I agree with the earlier poster it’ll all be bickering and other than Malcolm there’s no 1 with any guts or stamina.
On a side note there maybe a public viewing party with several former survivors up in the San Francisco Bay Area on February 13th. If anyone is interested in going send me a message and I’ll make sure you get the information.
The only one I like among the favorites is Malcom. That kid was solid in the last season. Phillip should be funny, he was a bit off in Nicaragua. Brandon Hantz is there because of Russell, my favorite Survivor of all time.
I like Russell too. I also like Boston Rob and Coach.
A lot of attractive girls this time.! Let’s see if Brandon can handle it. haha

Now Malcolm is not a Fan Favorite. He returned last May without his Survivor appearance having aired. But he might have won Player of the season if Lisa did not have such a large, pre-existing Twitter following. Yes, she encouraged them to vote and she narrowly won.
Well, they couldn’t call it “Fans vs a Weird collection of past contestants many of whom were a bit weird on their season “
Did you notice the one (2 seasons ago) that had that homosexual (can’t remember his name) that grated on everyone’s nerves and constantly informed everyone he was Republican?
That was a definite set-up... and he was FAR from Conservative.. :p
on IMDB, all the loonies there go apesh!t FOR homosexuals and will protect them with anything except their own life... YET, because he made sure that everyone was 200% sure he was a Republican, they despise him as much as a real Conservative..
Show what hypocrites (HypoCrats) they are (IMDB crowd).
Without watching the bios, can anyone tell me if there is any homo lifestyle pusher in the cast?
I am willing to watch the show if there are homos but not if it is part of their bio and agenda.
Thus for the first time in years, last season I didn’t watch. I watched the previews and there was a dyke pushing her thing. I thought, no, not invited to my living room. It just keeps happening every season and I try to look past it but I am sick of it.

I believe that the Favorites are just people that the producers picked because they thought they would generate interest.
And my vote for the first Favorite to go is Cochran —
Yep. Although it seems that this crop of favorites is a bit weak, compared to past seasons of favorites, all-stars, and heroes vs. villains. Still, its always interesting to see people taken out of their element into the wilds of nature. It’s also always great to see people who think they are so smart fail so bad.
