The Iranians have also modernized hanging by using construction cranes. No need to waste time and resources building gallows, making complicated trap doors etc...no sir just borrow a crane from your local construction site. Better still the device is completely mobile for those one donkey towns without any construction going on. Only the Chinese have a better system with traveling lethal injection vans complete with organ harvesting facilities.
