Girl with IQ of 161: Essex teenager's IQ is higher than Albert Einstein's

A 16-year-old girl from Essex stunned teachers by scoring 161 on her IQ test, more than Bill Gates and even Albert Einstein, SWNS reported.

Lauren Marbe, the teenager who enjoys fake tanning and manicures, is very proud of her high score, especially because it contradicts all the stigmas associated with being blonde.

"My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy," she told SWNS. "Now they keep saying 'I didn't realize you were that clever'."

Marbe is a pupil at Roding Valley High School in Loughton, Essex where she is a straight A and A* student. Though she ultimately dreams of being a performer in the West End, if she decides to go to college after high school, she plans on studying architecture at the University of Cambridge.

The teenage prodigy is also a gifted singer, she performed in the West End for two years as part of the chorus for Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash-hit Joseph.

My IQ result was one point higher than the one Richard Feynmann stated was his — and I’m pretty sure I’m not smarter than RF. I share at least some of his skepticism about the usefulness and accuracy of such tests. :’) Thanks UnwashedPeasant.

“Obama voters largely ARE smart enough to vote for their economic livelihood.”

Which makes them SMARTER than Jewish voters, that not only vote against their livelihood, they vote against their own survival (i.e., by supporting gun control).

Reputed to be Hollywood's "smartest dumb blonde", she would later complain that the public did not care about her brains. "They're more interested in 40–21–35", she said

And she didn't have to be a genius to figure that out.

She has pretty good gene expression as noted by her symmetry. (She also look younger than 16. Or maybe I'm just getting older). An IQ 4 standard deviations above the norm is rare, all the more so in women, who tend to cluster more at the mean, whereas men have more outliers.

I always assumed that Einstein's IQ was higher than 4SD.

Einstein's son, who became a professor of civil engineering at Caltech, insisted that his father's distinguishing trait (a lot like Richard Feymann) was his absolute refusal to take anyone's word for anything. He would not accept something until he had thought it through for himself.

Which probably explains why he didn't do all that well in school. Unlike most famous people in math and science, Einstein didn't have a famous adviser. He didn't get along with the advisers he did have and dumped one of them. He was pretty much self taught, and one of a kind.

While some may have a general IQ equal to or greater than Einstein's, I doubt anyone has ever equaled his ability to convert the real world into geometry in his mind.

IQ is simply the score on an IQ test, all of which are normed so that the average score is 100 and the standard deviation is 15.

In point of fact the degree to which IQ tests can distinguish meaningful differences in intelligence (even in the narrow sense they measure) drops off drastically at about four standard deviations and reporting of scores greater than 160 or below 40 always represents a dubious claim. Reporting of an IQ above 175 always represents hyperbole in claiming how smart a person is, rather than a realistic assessment of intelligence.

Yet, there have been reports that, the true genius behind "Einstein's" research and theories, was his wife, and she was never credited with anything, while Einstein got all the credit and press.

However, I don't know about the veracity of those reports, and we'll probably never know the whole truth.

ALL those reports would be some sick leftist fantasy. Leftists always try to tear down the accomplishments of Western Males.

I have read quite a few books on Einstein. He was the real deal -- an incredible genius. His wife could never comprehend the complexity of the mathematics of General Relativity. At times, he did use her as a sounding board; not that he needed one.

The genius that Einstein possessed was not measurable by standard IQ tests. He was a once in a 200-300 year rarity.

I don't know that it's a leftist fantasy or someone trying to tear down his accomplishments. I barely remember the stories I read about her own genius and accomplishments, but, none of them had any political overtones regarding her relationship to Einstein and her and his accomplishments. We need to consider the period in which Einstein came up with his theories and how women were perceived back then. Is it possible that, both she and Einstein knew that, he'd have more credibility with the theories as opposed to a woman, his wife?

I have read multiple biographies on Einstein. Very early on he showed his genius mind.

Please go and read and study this matter and have it resolved. The only place I read this theory was in leftist pronouncements.

Below is a small excerpt from Wiki on this matter.

Albert Einstein

In 1900, Einstein was awarded the Zurich Polytechnic teaching diploma, but Marić failed the examination with a poor grade in the mathematics component, theory of functions.[27]

There have been claims that Marić collaborated with Einstein on his celebrated 1905 papers,[28][29] but historians of physics who have studied the issue find no evidence that she made any substantive contributions.[30][31][32][33]

Einstein interacted in person with many of the great minds in Physics in the early 20th century. There was left in their minds no doubt about his incredible genius.

Someone of Einstein's amazing intellect does not happen but every 200-300 years.

Historians of Physics?

Imagine how the world of physics would have been turned completely upside down if Einstein’s wife had been revealed to be the brains behind the theory of relativity. After so man years of Einstein getting the credit and scientists drooling over his intellect, nobody would have been ready to give credit to his wife.

Also, nobody is taking anything away from Einstein’s intelligence. But, Einstein knew he was marrying someone with very high intelligence too, and whatever one of them was able to theorize, the other would have no problem understanding and even taking the theory further.

But, like I said, the stories from way back then would have been difficult to corroborate and prove, so, whatever the historians tell, will remain fact. BTW, doesn’t history get told by those that are accepted as official historians. Isn’t it a fact that, history gets to be told by the winner of a battle, or by those that get the loudest voices?

When the history of the last 2 elections gets told, it will likely show that, Obama was very likable and more in tune with the electorate, but, most of it won’t reflect the fact that, a great many people voted for him because, he offered the most gifts from government. I’m not saying that history lies all the time, but, written history does contain quite a bunch of lies.

And, BTW, people with Einstein’s high intellect occur more often than most people believe, but, most of them do not get to develop that intellect to the point where they achieve greatness. Most people with that kind of intellect are missing the people and environment and opportunities to achieve great thing, and become famous.

That kind of intellect is not something that comes along just “once every 200-300 years”.

I tested out in middle school with a very (freakish) high IQ.

People like you generally get an offer from the NSA or other letter agency. I knew a kid with a hyperIQ just out of college who practically got lassoed out of our internship program at a national laboratory. He disappeared behind highly secured gates somewhere in northern VA and was never seen again.
