Firefly is my all-time favorite show. Walking Dead is catching up to it slowly.

“Emergency”, probably the most realistic first reponder show in television history

So realistic that Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe had difficulty finding more acting gigs, as everyone in Hollywood was convinced that they were really firemen!

I’m another MeTV and Rockford Files fan.

“Lost” however, is the only weekly show that I ever carved out time to watch.

I also liked Conners as he attended my college, Seton Hall.
= = = = = = = = = = = = =
Another reason one of my ‘faves’ He was 1B for Brooklyn Dodgers....somehow he couldn’t ‘beat out’ Gil Hodges..<:
1 AB, played for Cubs after....
Also played for Boston Celtics after Army stint.

Another from that era that played BB and Baseball was Gene Conley for the Boston Braves (then Milwaukee) and Boston Celtics. He has a Championship ring from both sports.

There was ONE person who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Knicks and New York Rangers the same season..

Gladys Gooding, the organist for Ebbetts Field and Madison Square Garden.

Wait until you see the Rifleman segment labelled “Gun Shy” where they deal with the question of whether guns kill, or people kill.

No other TV character is more dependent on the bible to guide his daily life, than Lucas McCain, Lucas lives, eats, and breathes, the bible.

As a barely pubescent youngster in the 50's, we'd run home to watch the Mickey Mouse Club after school..Annette Funicello in those tight sweaters was awesome....

Here are two more oldies that were favorites of mine growing up:

"Hennesey" starred Jackie Cooper as a Navy doctor, and the GORGEOUS Abby Dalton as his nurse..and I wish I could remember the name of the basset hound..

"The Lieutenant"..lasted one year..drama about Marines at Camp Pendleton.. inspired me to become a Marine officer.

Other oldies, but greats, that I loved growing up:

"Victory at Sea" and "The Untouchables"

The Rifleman.

Always a moral...saw one recently where “Paw” explained Job’s burden to Mark.

It was wonderful.

Rawhide was the best television show that was ever produced. Eric Flemming taught Clint Eastwood how to act. The theme song was great too.

Rocky & Bullwinkle was not bad either. I laughed as a kid and I laugh now.
