Yes, she does. If nothing else, she can kneecap you when you make smart remarks like that one. ;)
My 11 year old daughter shoots my XD .45 compact. She can hit cans at 15 yards at about 50% accuracy. She likes shooting the smaller calibers better but never passes up a chance to show off in mixed company.
My son’s about to buy me a small revolver from an estate collection, and then I’m going to learn how to use it. A lifelong dream. I already joined the NRA as did my son. He already has a CCW.
That is so nice to hear. Start them young and responsible.
When I took my family to the range this past weekend there were a bunch of youngsters with their fathers. One girl was so cute. She had a pink .117. She couldn't have been more than six or seven years old. Her father was showing the greatest amount of patience with her. But more important, she was having a good time.
For the record, my girls are not too hot on pink guns, they prefer my black rifles.

I just got my CCP as well, after a three-week wait. Oregon. County sheriff says that anyone who applies, and does not have any disqualifiers, will be given a CCP.
My BIL and I were talking with someone who knows the loggers working up the mountain from us, and they see Bobcat and Cougar all the time. They will rarely hunt as low as where I live, but I think I’ll start carrying now when I take a walk up the mountain.
I wish that was the reason I that I carry. Although, I did dispatch a coyote a couple weeks ago (not in my neighborhood).
I ran straight into three crazy people today.
1. A guy going down the wrong way on an escalator.
2. Old man ranting on the train.
3. Beggar yelling in the street.
I could have happily shot any one of them.

I walked into my county courthouse, read all the signs they had up about having to open a satellite office in the basement for ccw permits, the waiting area with a suggested 2 hour wait for the paperwork, the notice that I would be notified in about two weeks if my permit was approved———— and then I walked out of there ten minutes later with my laminated ccw permit in hand, even though I had forgotten to bring my state drivers license from the car.

In Westmoreland county, the sheriff runs evening hours at different locations once a month. Walk in and walk out with your permit. If you dont feel like going to the courthouse.
