Poll: Clinton Would Win Florida Over Bush, Rubio in 201 Thursday, 21 Mar 2013 08:59 AM By Lisa Barron Florida voters would favor Democrat Hillary Clinton by a wide margin over either former GOP Gov. Jeb Bush or GOP Sen. Marco Rubio in a presidential election if it were held today, according to new poll of state voters. The Quinnipiac University survey of 1,000 registered state voters taken March 13-18 put the former secretary of state ahead of Bush by a 51 percent to 40 percent margin and ahead of Rubio by 52 percent to 41 percent. “We probably won’t know for some time whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2016. But if she decides to make the race, she begins with a sizable lead in a state that Republicans cannot win the White House without,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. While Clinton, who has consistently proven to be the strongest potential candidate in Quinnipiac national polls, has a whopping 93 percent to 5 percent favorability rating among Democrats in Florida, she is also viewed favorably by a respectable 26 percent of Republican voters. Equally significant, she has a 57 percent to 35 percent favorability rating among independents. Overall, Clinton was viewed more favorably by voters - 62 percent to 33 percent - than Bush and Rubio. Bush drew a 50 percent to 35 percent favorability rating, while Rubio received a 41 percent to 34 percent rating. In additional findings, the poll also revealed overwhelming support among Florida voters for the idea of mandatory universal background checks on people who want to buy guns, with 91 percent to 8 percent in favor. The survey also found that 51 percent of respondents favor tougher gun control laws, while 56 percent

[[Hillary’s not going to run. She’s feeling older than her age. I think she’s ill and the Clinton machine is covering it up.]]

Hillary didn’t come out in support of her gay sisters in arms for nothing- She’s running

[[Amazing.

She is a total incompetent with no discernible talent in any area and a proven record of failure.

And yet, she would win.]]

Not to mention that when she was grilled on who knew what in the bhenghazi attack that murderedf American citizens, she declared ‘what difference does it make’ and still she’d win? Again- My heart has broken at how far this country has sunk into the sewer- Apparenttly a democrat can do any damn thing they want and America does NOT care- she could have personally withheld the backup needed in bhenghazi- directly causing steven’s death, and STILL this country woudl vote for her- President Bush on the other hand was what?” A day or two late durign catrina and htel eft demanded he step down and ruined his career over that? Apparently the only way to win in this country politically is to be a despicable incompetent- As long as a candidate is antiamerican, and hates thsoe who are patriots- why then they are golden with hte American public evidently

Fight the Leviathan State in all its forms. Concede that the Wars on Drugs and Terror did more harm to Americans than to criminals and terrorists. Do it publicly. Do it now. Get out in front of it.

The Democrats have won elections they had no business winning for years by playing libertarian against a perceived Republican Big Brother. That has to end - now.

The GOP can win - or try to push people around.

Hispanics voting on the basis of being Hispanic is a myth cooked up to create support for immigration reform.

In reality Hispanics vote Liberal economic policy. Their key issue in the 2012 election was support for ObamaCare.

The benefit provided by politicians like Rubio and Cruz isn’t that Hispanics will flock to them, but rather that Hispanics might listen to them as they make the case for GOP and Conservative policies (smaller less intrusive government, lower taxes, conservative social policies on things like abortion, etc)

A truthful, clear, as well as ethical leader persuades and fights to turn back from wrong deviations.

Strategerist Republicans stick their wet finger in the air hoping for temporal quasi-victories that linger in social decay.

No I did not *entirely* misconstrue what you wrote; moderation only simmers the filth. However, tactful courses (Which you promote in your post, I get that) and an insistence on reestablishing classical liberalism (In the British tradition, not the French as a whole) would be a welcome change from the Bush-es, Dole, McCain, Romney, and other *economic*/social (Contemporary) pragmatic/”practical” Republican impotent creatures which the, how did you put it, “RINO hunters” who have been proven correct that progressive/statist politicians no matter what political faction, lead to dependency upon the state.

I predict Hillary wins 400+ EVs in 2016. It won’t matter which sacrificial lamb the Repubs lay at her feet.

So is Obama. While they're both horrid for this country, more than enough voters are fine with that.

Absolutely she's running. Anyone else remember how, for months she said she had "no plans" to run for Senator in NY back in 2000?

She will be lucky to be alive in 2016, let alone able to face the rigors of a 24/7 campaign.

In which case, the dems will run Julian Castro, the San Antonio mayor, or the scumbag from L.A., Antonio Villaraigosa. They'll be looking to permanently sew up the hispanic vote with one of those two.

Yup- and how she ‘toured’ upstate NY promissing everyoen htere ‘fast itnernet service’ even in rural areas that didn’t have any itnernet service nor any means of gettign ‘fast’ itnernet service-

That was all it took for a republican majority in upstate NY to overwhelmingly vote for her- and she FAILED to deleiver on her promise (once again- per usual)

I remember it distinctly- I was shocked when I learned how many upstate peopel actually voted for her- Even back then I remembered thinking that this country was now beyond hope if they could be that guillible to beleive the BLATANT LIES coming out of the mouths of the left- I fully expected downstate to vote for her- and knew she would be elected- however, it was a complete shock when I learned how many upstate bought her LIES

Didn’t the History channel have a picture of old Lucifer on the Bible miniseries recently?

"I think she’s ill and the Clinton machine is covering it up."

I think you are right. That whole blood clot issue. If she is prone to them (her father died of a stroke) it is very possible that she won't be able to hold up. Also she just looks bad.

I think that’s a very good point and scares the Hell out of me... The fact that Obama won—not once—but twice! With his record???@!!!@##!@

Folks, there are people out there not like us. They love liars, crude jokes, rude behavior, fighting, emotional pap and a host of other things that Hollyweird has given them over the years. Add the Gansta Rap generation (black AND white), the illegals, the diversitists, the queers and lesbians and you have a recipe for electoral disaster for the next many decades.

I don’t believe we are going to get our country back.

I hope someone proves me wrong. I WANT someone to prove me wrong.
