March 2013 will be remembered for its cold, miserable weather, and Environment Canada confirms that it ranked as the second-coldest March in the last 50 years. "It was so winter-like, my gosh it was even more winter-like than February," said David Phillips, chief meteorologist with Environment Canada. In Regina, the average daily temperature during March measured around -12.3 C. "The normal would be around -5 C," explained Phillips, "and I needn't remind you that last year, the temperature was close to 1 C. So think about it, (that's) 13 degrees colder than it was the year before."

What really caught my attention was the difference between the average temperature in March, and the temperature in March 2013. Convert the Celsius to Farhenheit and it is a difference of about 13 degrees F colder this March than the average March for this area....a very big difference. And, another chink in the armor of the Global Warming Hoax crowd

When the last ice age set in the global temperature plummeted some 30 or 40 degrees F.

We are already seeing what George Orwell termed “doublethink”... holding two contradictory ideas in your head and believing both... in the global warming cult. Human produced CO2 causes “climate change” which can be either global warming or global cooling with tortured explanations of how the effects of global warming can be manifested as frigid temperatures and brutal winters. The whole human caused CO2 driven climate model is coming apart and it’s predictions are now being seen as wildly inaccurate.
I hunted but could not find the late spring frost zone map. For us here in East Tennessee, the late frost date is around 15th of May. In the recent past it has been much warmer and there was no danger in May at all.
The current cold wet spring is a reversion toward the extreme that might actually produce frost in mid May
The plants know the score and are prepared to deal with the cold. The trees are hunkered down and refuse to consider budding.
That’s what I thought!
