Not a conspiracy theory - If Lanza fired 154 rounds from his bushmaster and they found 3 empty 30-round magazines, so that is 3 X 30 = 90.
The magazine he had when he killed himself had 15 rounds, so assuming he shot an additional 15 rounds that would be 90 + 15 = 105 rounds.
Where did the other 49 (154-105) rounds come from?
A Math witch!! You will cause a panic with your dark cyphering arts. They told us all we need to know.
I recently read an article indicating the same thing; that Lanza had three 30 round magazines for the Bushmaster, and that was the only weapon used against those he killed. That article stated an amount of rounds being fired that was far above the 90 held by the three magazines. I also have questions on how Lanza could have fired more rounds than he had capacity for?
Finally, someone said it. I notice this days ago.
You assume the media was accurate in how many magazines were found. This is the same media that first said they found an AR in his trunk when the video obviously showed a shotgun. Also the gun he killed himself with was a handgun with the 15 round mag. It could be they found 3 30 round AR mags separate from the gun and a 60 or drum mag in the gun for all we know.
From one source: Lanza had 10 30-round magazines. Some of those magazines were found to be only partially empty. Maybe there were only three empty ones?
Lanza was an avid FPS (first person shooter) gamer. He would have quickly learned to reload at every opportunity, and not wait until a magazine was empty.
However, in many FPS's, reloading a partially empty magazine doesn't discard the remaining rounds. For instance, if you have 10 rounds remaining in a 30-round magazine and 60 rounds in reserve, reloading would "top off" the magazine to 30 rounds and only subtract 20 from the reserve. The animation depicts simply swapping magazines, but the effect is the more time consuming task of filling the existing magazine with more rounds.
What difference does it make???
The entire thing smells worse than moldy socks, imo.
“a matter of semantics”
LOL!
They came from the same place that the train from Yonkers when it arrived after going 40.5 MPH and passed the train from Chicago going 32 MPH...
They said, “keep walking. There is nothing to see here. Now shut up and get back in line.”
Good question. According to the last that I read about it, though, he was changing magazines before they were empty. That would present even more of a problem with what we’ve been presented.
Trigger happy law enforcement shooting at eachother?
Here’s a good one. From the article, investigators found certificates of NRA membership with Adam and Nancys names on them in their house, but the NRA says that it makes no such certificates. And the NRA said that neither were members.
There is a lot about it that doesn’t make any sense. His accuracy is at about 94%, at that rate (from what I have read). Even someone good at video games would be hard pressed to deliver that kind of accuracy with the real thing. Yes, the poor little kids were caught unawares, etc. but they would be small, no doubt darting targets. (Yes, in a confined area, but still...) Something stinks.
Good questions P-dog....prepare for condescension.
There were a total of 7 magazines -- the one on his AR15, and 6 others.
3 of the magazines were emptied [90] but 3 others he changed out before they were empty and about half the rounds were still left in the magazines of those three. That's where your missing 49 other rounds came from.
RE: NRA certificate, not membership card.

“Emily Miller of the Washington Times noted today in a piece responding to Morgans egregious and misleading tweets that:
In the search warrants of the Lanzas mothers house, it showed a receipt for a shooting range along with a NRA certificates for both Adam and Nancy Lanza. These are given when a person takes a course in gun safety or training by an NRA-certified instructor.
The police also list a handbook published by the NRA. The book covers topics include safely using a pistol safely, shooting fundamentals, cleaning, storage and transportation.

The certificate was made out to Nancy Lanza, according to LaPierre explain what checks they made on Adam Lanza before sending him a @NRA certificate. #Newtown
The NRA was forced to put out a statement clarifying for those in the media that people NRA certificates dont indicate membership in the organization: There is no record of a member relationship between Newtown killer Adam Lanza, nor between Nancy Lanza, A. Lanza or N. Lanza with the National Rifle Association. Reporting to the contrary is reckless, false and defamatory.
