Good News, a trend has begun that will transform our media and in turn our culture.

The culture warriors on the right are positioning themselves in areas that were unheard of just 5 or 10 years ago. The tipping point is like picking a top or bottom in the Stock Market, something I would like to avoid, however I can assure you the trend has begun and will feed on itself as the new reality sets in.

It has certainly been understood that in order to re-establish the greatness of America and restore the Constitutional principles that makes US exceptional, we need to win the hearts and minds of the masses. The culture of the masses to be more specific. The folks that have formed their opinions around 30 second sound bites on the news which reinforces what they have been fed from years of watching movies and television. This is about to change in a very big way. While it may seem negligible at first, I am convinced that the trend is “in” and as it grows and expands into new areas, the efforts by the liberals to stop it, will actually help it grow.

Currently, our culture is a complete mess.

The rampant nihilism of the typical 15 to 25 year old, was born from an age of profound uncertainty and fueled by an explosion of media never before seen in human history. Indoctrinated in the public school system since kindergarten, they have been fighting an internal battle between what they have been conditioned to believe and what they know as the difference between right and wrong. To avoid being seen as a racist, bigoted, judgmental, evil, islamaphobe, homophobe, sexist, capitalist they have retreated to a greater sense of self while expressing a level of cynicism for virtually everything. The peer pressure to get along is hitting their human nature with no outlet.

We have been building to this precipice for 60 plus years, the point at which the cumulative foundations of understanding have divided the population and culture into two wholly separate realities. One reality that embraces uncertainty, not only of the world around you, but the uncertainty of one’s self. The other reality consists of the acknowledgment of “objective morality”. Objective morality requires the judgment of “right and wrong”. It is my contention that the pressure of “objective morality” (human nature) contrasted against uncertainty has led to the cynicism and nihilism we see today.

The tipping point.

It is no secret that the media from Hollywood to the local and national news is dominated by leftist group think.

If you look at the narrative from the current providers of information and entertainment the underlying concepts and message is one that undermines reason and attempts to destroy the structure of trust critical for the advancement of a society. This backdrop is changing like never before.

Capitalism, which is an extension of human nature, has been bottled up for too long and is breaking out.

The alternate reality of a society structured around the basic concepts of human nature, the US Constitution, represent a market that is ripe for the taking. The ratings of Fox news and the extraordinary ratings of “The Bible” mini-series have shown other capitalists the way.

The good news.

And I really don’t care about the little details or exceptions. This trend will not stop.

Conservative Koch Brothers Turning Focus to Newspapers

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/21/business/media/koch-brothers-making-play-for-tribunes-newspapers.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

These brothers are billionaires for a reason. They do not throw away money like Soros into a losing venture. Set aside their position on gay marriage and consider their position as Libertarians.

I believe they are simply, first movers in this trend as are these Libertarians that are pushing the PC culture.

Adam Carolla

http://adamcarolla.com/

Penn Jillette

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penn_Jillette

Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumkins) . Consider his audience and not Alex Jones.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8kyfhABWug

This trend has started with a pure Constitutional libertarian ideal.

Glenn Beck Announces TheBlaze TV Partnership With Mega Hollywood Filmmaker

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/05/02/glenn-beck-announces-theblaze-tv-partnership-with-mega-hollywood-filmmaker/

Whether you love Beck or not is irrelevant, he gets it, and is making inroads.

The ability to recognize and articulate the “foundations” of Modern Liberal thought have provided a road map for the conservative culture warrior to proceed.

HERITAGE FOUNDATION: "How Modern Liberals Think" (2007)

Evan Sayet. (Andrew Breitbart said that this is “One of the five most important conservative speeches ever given”)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDb3sTwD_vA

The first or initial phase is an acceptable concept of self that acknowledges objective morality and given the current state of the culture, it must begin in the opening that has been created by the failures or divide, modern Liberalism as created.

Please understand this.

When the MSM and the Liberal sycophant bloggers attempt to discount these new concepts, they will actually feed the innate desires of their audience. A snake, at some point will realize that it is eating its own tail.

FWIW, NPR said that the Koch Bros. would be hands off with their newspapers.

(And yes, sometimes I monitor the propagandists at NPR)

And we believe every word from NPR, now don’t we? They will hire and fire leadership. That is enough hands on for me.

I’d like to take a look at your links, but at first blush I think you’re pretty much on target. We get thumped for it here but Libertarians are most likely going to be leading the way out of the darkness. Capitalism is the best method yet for figuring out what works and what doesn’t, the principles go back to the origins of civilization and the first marketplaces. There’s something human DNA that strives for greatness and accomplishes great things when it’s allowed to run free and not bottled-up. That’s why the modern Chinese economy is able to feed and even elevate the prosperity of the poor, rural millions after central planning failed to do so.

This BS has gone on a lot longer that many of us would have ever thought, but if they keep pushing, eventually Atlas will shrug.

Capitalism is an extension of human nature when fully understood.

Therefore, it is inevitable.

Short of forcible suppression, and even that is only temporary.

Agreed. But I prefer the term Conservative Libertarianism to make that important distinction from the Liberal contaminants that sanction the egregious Leftwing agenda.

We're far from it now and it's still not clear if the Koch Bros. will sell out freedom and capitalisim like all the rest have in favor of doing "business" the with socialist and tyranical countries around the globe.

I like Carolla and Jillette, but their vigorous use of vulgarity should be known..

Whether or not the Brothers fall into the “crony capitalism” that most of our large corporations have, is yet to be seen.

I for one welcome their investment.

I always say that humans are hardwired for capitalism. It does not need to be imposed, but it is often forcibly repressed. It will arise again.

I love anecdotal evidence.

It’s like abstract logic.

It’s Friday. It’s been a big week, but I am not going to ignore what I see or hear. Anecdotal maybe, but the signs are looking good.

Exactly.

We will see if the “modern liberal”, “fascist groups”, “progressives” pressure our Fascist state with legal action using the “Federal trade commission’s” bureaucracy to exact a fee from the Koch brothers that would render this acquisition untenable.

I’m sorry if you misunderstood my reply.

I really do like anecdotal evidence as it helps to fill in the gaps of a particular thesis.

I’m not on twitter, but if you can point me to what you are seeing, that would be awesome.

So very sorry. I did misunderstand. @GOPBlackChick (Crystal Wright), @BlackRepublican and @Gabby_Hoffman (Gabriella Hoffman) are three gals of many that have a huge following. I believe Hannity had Crystal on his TV show a while back. Twitter is amazing as I have learned so much and it’s all on my phone.
