This is a Call to Action for a Non-Hierarchical Occupation of Monsanto Everywhere

Whether you like it or not, chances are Monsanto contaminated the food you ate today with chemicals and unlabeled GMOs. Monsanto controls much of the world's food supply at the expense of food democracy worldwide.

This site is dedicated to empowering citizens of the world to take action against Monsanto & it's enablers like the FDA, USDA, EPA, GMA, BIO, and the processed food companies that use Monsanto's products.

We urge you to help organize and attend the closest March Against Monsanto taking place on Saturday, May 25, 2013!

I’ve been getting a lot of emails about this GMO food issue and the argument is that the food is genetically modified to resist the effects of the insecticides, herbicides and fugicides, so that the farmers can freely spray the fields without killing the crops. All the other complaints are nonsense.

Now, the question is, “Do the herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, build up in the food stuffs?” “Are we eating the pesticides along with the foods? “ “Is there a limit to the amount of these pesticides that humans can safely ingest?” I don’t know the answers to these questions.

I became aware of this because of the coal terminal that Obama wants to build with tax incentives in my WA State county. The developers (Goldman Sachs) have told people that the sub-bituminous coal is only the excuse to get the infrastructure built, that the real goal is to ship grain and soy beans to China. Now, at this time, there is no grain or soy beans to ship because the federal government pays farmers not to grow, The idea is to lift the restrictions and in five years time start shipping grain and soy beans to China. Monsanto would be paying the farmers to grow the GMO crops to maximize the harvests.

Monsanto is one of the most evil corporations on the face of the Earth, and Obama protects them.

Yeah, life was so much healthier when we were huddled around a bonfire wondering why no one lived to see 30.

And even better when folks breathed 30% O2, lived low stress lifestyles, ate the purest of food and lived over 900 years. Those were the days.

May 25 is against big brother.

No, May 25th is nothing more than a meeting of anti-capitalist morons who will be denouncing the fact that we are not currently living in pre-industrial villages.

A hundred years ago, an American male could expect to live about 50 years. Today, the average American man can expect to live about 80 years. Damn those evil American corporations! Damn those evil pesticides and herbicides!! Damn that evil GMO food!!!

May 25th will be just another day except for a few idiots on parade who will be protesting the very technology that has made their lives so much better. Like Ron White says, though, "You can't fix stupid."

you know I’ve gained much knowledge reading posts here. I read for quite a while before joining. Now I post some thing and all you do is criticize. Nothing in life is perfect. Many of you speak of belief in God, but quickly judge.

you make me laugh that you have such blinders on and cannot see possibility of God in this - the global uprise about our food sources getting too controlled and corps like monsanto that dominate and do things that are likely making people sick being protected and our media filling peoples head with thoughts there is no problem it’s ok but more and more obesity and more and more kids with issues etc -

God can use anything any way he wants and all many of you see is left or right. God loves us all, and will raise up and take down whom He choses as He wishes. In the mean time we are to fight the good fight and do the right thing like help bring awareness about govts and corps run amuck.

My church just packed last week over 800,000 meals of rice, veggies and soy protein. I was glad to help - but I had to wonder about the soy protein flakes and the vitamin powder/seasoning. Was this food helpful or hurtful to the people with no food?

We in USA have such a glut of food options it’s easy to shrug it off as “not my problem. I’m doing fine and I’m educated in my choices” that to me says self focused. God says be God focused and help our neighbors. Many of our neighbors are lost - caught up in media hype about what “food” is. And our govt who is also our “neighbor” is wacked out in it’s thinking.

if not May 25th or July 4th what do you suggest as a way to educate folks to buy wisely, so we can truly make a change in having more and better food choices?

Whether you think GMO foods are a threat to health or not, they should be labeled so that those who care can make the choice. I applaud them for raising this issue.

Yes people who grew up and ate decent food in the early 1900’s will live to 80ish. they were grown with the sense to eat fresh fruits and veg etc - but as many age they too are succumbing to processed additive/pesticide laden crap sold as food.

kids, onthe other hand grow up thinking the processed additive filled pesticide riddled crap food is truly nutritious. corps add back in syntheic vits and minerals and our bodies were not made to ingest and be nursihed with synthetics.

As a child I went to disney world and loved the monsanto attraction. I don’t like this monsanto money grab, and govt protection.

How is it in the best interests of a corporation to kill off paying customers?

It has broad based support there are events in numerous countries listed and across the USA.

Number of locations does NOT Indicate breadth of support, any more than it did for the occupy movement itself.

If you see a lot of the general nuisance lefties (Code pink, Feminist groups, Marxists, etc) show up, that charactrizes the event.

show up with a prolife sign, if they leave you be, they are okay. If they spit vituperation or scatter, it is a leftist event. Works with front operations like the Larouchites, too.

As opposed to the people with no food starving to death? Good grief, do you even read what you write? Is it better a child have soy protein to sustain life, or is it better that he die a gruesome death and not have to worry about your silly and unfounded fears?

Moronic fretting like this is why my kids have to learn in school about how wonderful Rachel Carson was even though she is responsible for more death than Stalin, Hitler, and Mao combined. It's also why one of the greatest Americans remains relatively unknown. Norman Borlaug saved a billion people, mostly children, from starvation by pioneering GMO foods. Yet Rachel Carson is in the school books because, like you, she opposed scientific progress. It's just plain insidious and I have no patience for people who intentionally promote this idiocy.

I admit I don’t trust Monsanto either. The crops resistant to the chemicals are called “Roundup Ready” (as in “Roundup” the pesticide). I too wonder how much of that pesticide makes it into our food. I won’t do any protesting. Usually there’s a lot of ‘earth-worshipping’ types there. Just not my style, but this issue is not just a lefty concern.

“this is people around the globe sick of the protection of corproations trying to poisin people and create more disease which gives them the idea we need their “sick care” obamacare crap.”

That doesn’t make any sense. You’re buying into a bunch of junk science and fear mongering spread by the leftists.

If I’m understanding you correct, I agree. I see pesticides, gmos hf cornsyrip etc that are modified or used or added to our food but unnatural to our body’s system of breaking down and using nutrients as some corps and businesses way of killing off their customers. I’d justlike clear info so i can make wise choices.

I had words with Breyer’s ice cream. recently their slogan for decades was “all natural” they now go by Breyer’s frozen deserts - because they claim there taste testers prefer their new products with corn syrup. So I no longer buy Breyers even thought hey are maintainign a few flavors without corn syrup.
