Excellent point! That is really the key to making sense of this nonsense.

It has been bewildering to watch the bizarre contortions this admin. went through to avoid any effective response to the attacks in Benghazi.

But if one starts by recognizing Obama’s political, electoral priorities then it all made sense (within a certain twisted view of the world).

Can’t involve FEST or the military because we (Obamatons) can’t admit this is a terrorist attack on our consulate on 9-freaking-11 !!

Or...we can’t send in military because this was expected and arranged. Kidnap the ambassador, trade him for the blind sheik, make muzzles love us. Unfortunately, for the administration and the ambassador, something went wrong and the ambassador died. Explains why Obama was so unconcerned he went to bed during the attack. Explains why no military was sent in. Explains why it took two weeks to get the FBI in to investigate. Explains why it HAD to be a spontaneous protest that they could not have anticipated. Explains why they are going to such extreems to shut people up. This is beyond incompetence. This is treason.
