If you are drinking five cups of coffee a day you are probably eating and drinking a lot of other things that will really build up your fatty deposits.

I was wondering how that level of coffee consumption was considered “moderate”, myself.

OMFG! EVERYTHING’S GOING TO KILL EVERYONE!

Years ago, it was that caffeine in coffee will cause heart attacks. Then they say it’s good for cardiovascular health. Then they say decaf is better for polyphenols. Then they say it’ll keep Alzheimer’s at bay. Now they say it’ll make you obese.

Are you freaking kidding me? Coffee’s been consumed for centuries. Obesity on the scale that we see it now is a relatively contemporary development and is most likely due to the excessive amounts of sugar in our foods.

These people should just go away.

Wasn't it nice before TV and the internet...when you weren't deluged with "fags are good", "guns are bad", "islam is good", "Christians are bigots", "killing babies is good".....etc etc

What a disgusting, immoral country we have become.

“Buncha Hooey”

My words were slightly different but the sentiment is the same.

I am embarrassed by 99% of what passes as medical “research” these days.

Agree!! Also makes me wonder in whether this study included various types of high calorie coffee drinks (e.g. with cream, sugar, other flavorings, latte, etc).

Same here. I get up around 5am every morning and typically have a pot and a half of coffee before going to work. Guess I'm doomed.
