The private sector may drive the economy, but government also has a key role to play, President Obama told an enthusiastic crowd of Democrats in Boston on Wednesday.
“When people say the whole problem is government, they don't understand,” Obama said at a fundraiser for U.S. Senate hopeful Ed Markey.
“Government can help by establishing smart priorities, by making smart choices, by investing in American manufacturing so we’re bringing more of our jobs back from overseas—investing in our roads and our bridges and our ports to make sure that we are staying competitive all around the world, educating our children from the earliest years, keeping them safe from gun violence, rethinking our high schools, making college more affordable—making sure we stay at the cutting edge in science and technology, securing our energy future, addressing climate change. There are some things that government can do that’ll help middle-class families.” …

Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc, etc. …No need for government intervention in any of what he talked about. Especially when it comes to indoctrinating the youngest minds.
The push for this is to to pay off the teachers union by creating more union jobs. Plus, he gives free day care to the single moms who voted for him.

Total dependence on other individuals/humans apart from family to foster a viable community/Nation of citizens is destructive to the goals of our Constitution as envisioned by our Nation’s Founders. Obama is still in ‘community organizer’ mode and apparently sees ‘community’ much in the same light as Hitler saw his ‘youth corp’. Much of family responsibility has been transferred to public indoctrination and the USA now is burdened by generations of persons wallowing in the social mud. I can see why Obama likes such a society.
