During his radio broadcast today on The Blaze network, conspiracy theorist Glenn Beck promised some big news would rock this "country in the next 24 hours" and "take down pretty much the whole power structure" (video below).

Turns out it was just a bombshell, without any explosive charge or detonator.
Reportedly, there is something he is claiming will be a big deal, but doesn't have a short timeline to release it.
I read a thread on that yesterday and think I remember the big bomb announcement was put off. Maybe someone who knows more will post.
Beck is like the birther sheriff (I like that sheriff, however...), and Trump. All three promise but it doesn’t happen.
The first, if proven, has the potential to bring down the ruling power structure. The second is SOP for the blackmailable Boehner. The puppet masters don't allow anyone, and I mean anyone including the Bush family, to have positions of power unless they are loyal to the masters first.
And one last note: when you excerpt from a Beck quote, it is a good idea to include the entire paragraph, since leaving out a 'could' or 'should' in order to further marginalize Beck is a trait now well identified at FR. The rodeo clown makes dumb enough proclamations without selectively quoting parts of his paragraphs in order to sevre the character assassins further.
Why would he haul off and say such a thing and then jerk everyone around for the next two days afterwards with uh... (expletive deleted) nothing.
Beck is a professional bloviator - someone who has convinced some fool to pay him big bucks to come on several days a week and blow a lot of hot air, whether anything is happening or not and whether he actually has any pertinent information to add to current debates. Since Beck evidently has nothing to add, he had to produce a “big bombshell” to spur ratings. When the time arrived for the “big bombshell”, well it was delayed, tune in next week, and by all means, keep listening and in the meantime ‘Drink your Ovaltine’.
King, Bachmann and Gohmert explained their opposition to the current immigration reform effort on Beck’s TV program Thursday night, saying that a “Trojan horse” bill is in the works to essentially trick the GOP into voting for amnesty for illegal immigrants and ensuring a permanent voting block for progressives and Democrats.
In a word: HUH? The king is still in place so I’m thinking another “revelation that will bring down this administration” didn’t have much substance.

Beck is about to jump the shark so far as I'm concerned, a victim of his own penchant for drama.
Then again if something big happens next week maybe he'll say I told you so. I'm willing to wait it out.
However, I'm not going to waste any time listening to Beck and his ADD-affected drama until he makes good. I'll be listening to another guy who closed his show Friday by saying he had no idea what the cause was right then, but that he'd be examining what it could be to cause the eGOP to so desperately want amnesty right now.
(What $$$ could it $$ ever be $$$ ??? )
Listen to another guy next week to hear this question addressed and maybe get some useful, newsworthy facts.
I’m sorry but why so much attention to this windbag. He’s like a good carny. He draws us into his carnival tent promising us something powerful and earth shattering and then when we get in it’s a big dud! You guys can waste your time listening to that fool but it’s time to put him on the back burner with Trump. All you’re doing is making him wealthy by buying his books and other materials he puts out.

Please clarify? I took pains to excerpt the article’s first paragraph in its entirety. I just looked at the article, and — yes — I copied and pasted the first FULL paragraph, and ONLY the first full paragraph, lest I run into issues with the Admins.
Beck seems to be stealing the techniques of Richard C. Hoaglund.
Drudge did a “shake the world’s foundations” ploy years ago. He hit on it for a while and then went silent. I got on his radio show and asked him what was up. He wouldn’t say other than “the story is still out there” (?) and I never heard another thing about it.
