After a loss, it's a good idea to sit down with the team and do an After Action Review (AAR). It is also a good idea to go back to the fundamentals. You might also want to get some fresh viewpoints. I haven't seen the Republican leadership doing these things. So, let's give them a hand. Let's get back to the fundamentals with some fresh viewpoints. We'll start by examining the opposition.

What are the fundamental goals or objectives of the Democrat party?

How would the Democrats benefit from European style socialism?

So, you see their goal as acquiring wealth for themselves?

It is possible to do both, actually. Requires being pretty corrupt, but I doubt that would bother him much.

Because it would give them greater scope for more and greater handouts, thus buying more votes, thus keeping them in power and enabling them to achieve more of their goals.

That’s what the kleptocrats and corporatists want. The Marxists are more in love with power than anything else. They are sick people.

You are the second person to view the Democrats as operating in a cycle. Is there a goal to the cycle?

I’ve discussed the Democrats love of power with others. Why do they want all this power? I feel powerful when I’m in a pickup, but is that what they are after? The feeling of being able to conquer nature or others?

Probably. The endgame for them in my view is to wind up as the ruling oligarchy of a large polity within a world socialist/communist system. That was an original goal of Marxism, after all.

It is the feeling of being able to conquer the nature of others.

If the world was filled with nothing but socialist nations, who would be in charge of the world? Would it be Obama?

It’s a different kind of power-rush, one built on sadism. I don’t know what your faith is, but I understand the very simple setup of evil in this world. The existence of transcendent, malevolent forces.

I think that people are coming to realize that after you let lawbreaking go unpunished because the sympathetic MSM is invested in the players, and then you continue to look the other way as the incidents of lawbreaking becomes a repeated pattern of increasing arrogance, it's hard to suddenly demand accountability without putting your own culpability on display.

I'd like to think that, at some point, people will regain their sense of proper order and reign in those who claim to be our leaders. But I wonder if we've reached the "in for a penny, in for a pound" point from the MSM, who feel that they've got "theirs" secured, so it's no longer worth it to look back.

So politics is just wrestling for people who aren’t good at physical wrestling?

An educated guess would be a cabal of the more powerful or influential socialist nations through the auspices of the UN. They would cooperate for a time, but if history is any guide, they’ll start jockeying to eliminate each other not long after assuming control. My opinion is that Obama is just another tool in a long game, one that has been played since the 1920s or so, and won’t reach its fruition until about the middle of this century.

I would like to propose a word change--grapple--and then we may be on to something.

So politics is just grappling for people who aren’t good at physical grappling?

Yes, and I think that Hitler is a good example of this. I didn’t see him as being particularly concerned with the finer things in life. He was always wearing uniforms. He would display his power, but not necessarily his wealth. For instance, I haven’t read that he took expensive vacations. Do the Democrats take fancy vacations?

to get reelected at any cost, and spend hard working Americans money buying votes.

And to make sure that Constitution-ignorant voters remain constitutionally ignorant, particularly with respect to the federal government's constitutionally limited powers.
