I wouldn’t call it beautiful or gorgeous ... but majestic certainly and an example of pure power. And well worth the post, by the way.

Wow. Nature’s raw power. It is beautiful..but I’m thankful I wasn’t near it.

I can’t even imagine what is going on inside those formations. Interesting to a meteorologist, awesome to watch from a distance, or on video, but to be near it? Fearsome!

When you're the dad and the husband of four frightened children and a stressed wife who know a funnel is headed in your direction, believe me, it isn't so beautiful.
I'm sorry to see such deadly things romanticized.

Tiger, tiger, burning bright/ In the forests of the night,/ What immortal hand or eye/ Could frame thy fearful symmetry? In what distant deeps or skies/ Burnt the fire of thine eyes?/... - William Blake
The riddle is how that same immortal hand or eye could have created this fearful and impressively beautiful symmetry, and the most beautiful peaceful sunset you had ever seen. It's not an accident.

Nature is terrible and beautiful. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that supercell, but I can enjoy the majesty of this world from a safe distance!

Stunningly gorgeous!
You must love tornadoes.
I hope to see one, from a safe distance, before I pass...(and yes—I’ve heard all the responses to that statement—”yeah, you’ll see one RIGHT BEFORE you go!”)
Thanks so much for the post!
