The truth is usually a tough thing to accept, so I understand if this is flagged. It would be a cowardly thing to do, but I understand it. Some people just ignore unpleasant truths. However, if you think ignoring the problem, or trying to censor the truth, will help our black children improve, you're dreaming. This is important, so I'm happy to repost - indefinitely if necessary. I find it interesting that NO ONE has had the intellect to refute anything in the essay. They can only attempt to censor it, as if doing so somehow makes it invalid. Weak minds, weak minds.

Let’s just say that last year I was escorted from a school board meeting for going on an extended tirade that asked the musical question “Why are more EXPENSIVE schools equated with BETTER schools in your greedy little minds?”
For the record it didn't "get my back up" I was asking for clarification because your statement could have been taken either way. And please remember that reading another person's mind is against the rules here, which is why I was very specific in my question.
Well my wife and I don't have any natural children, but have had 16 or so foster children and whether they were with us a weekend or several years we did our best to undo the damage that had been done by the natural parents.

Nope. My mom who is black and in her 70s had a totally different educational experience. Back then, from what she told me, all black schools then had not yet been destroyed by liberals.
Ofcourse now, she is sending my niece to a private Christian school where none of what described in that rant will happen.

Exactly. Liberalism influenced home training where lack of parenting drives out of control children in school.
Parents these days are more interested in being friends with their children. Then children don’t get taught how to act cause their parents haven’t taught them.
I think that what your mom told you is true for a great many communities. The tragedy is that the cult of ”Diversity”, serves the interest of no group. It undermines the ability of each group to deal with problems in a realistic way. Does any of this make much sense?William Flax
Well there was an effort to create all male and all female public schools. They were excelling. As usual liberals shut them down.

Part of the "culture" issue is low income housing. Housing projects ensure that children from dysfunctional families are surrounded by other dysfunctional families. There are no role models. There are no men of strong character and good habits. All the young children see are druggies, pimps and losers.

I have held the belief that liberals adore abortion because it decimates (God help us) the population growth of the "pets". I have also held the belief that America is largely non-racists but the biggest collection of racists are in the Democrat party.
Chairman for a local Native American tribe told us the following in a business meeting:

They sure do! But I grew up in NYC in the 50s and 60s, and then the housing projects were just replacement housing for people who had lived in tenements. You had to be married to get in and you had to be employed. The buildings weren't beautiful, but they were functional and safe.
Welfare recipients lived in what we called "welfare buildings" that were horrible. These were large buildings that the NYC welfare dept had rented out and which were inhabited mostly by blacks from the South. They had fires, people being thrown out of the windows, and ambulance calls at least three times a night.
I will never forget when the city declared that unmarried women with children could get apartments in the projects. This was under Lindsay, btw, after the Harlem riots and Lindsay bumped these people up to the top, over people who'd been on the list for years.
A coworker, who was black and lived in the projects (that is, black, married, employed and married to somebody who had been employed until his death a few years earlier) was very distressed because her daughter had fallen in with a bad crowd, gotten pregnant, and then came to see her mother and boasted that she could now get her own apartment. My co-worker said, "Liz, I just don't know what's going to happen now."
How right she was.
