Skip to comments.Should FR continue to blacklist Infowars articles? [JimRob reply at 47]

Sources such as NYT, Wapo, Politico are permitted on FR and those organizations are not exactly unbiased or accurate. Generally speaking, I think Infowars presents a libertarian and constitutionalist perspective and has cleaned up its act over the last couple years.
What was it's act like beyond the last couple of years?
See Jim Robinson's Post #3 dated Mon 29 Apr 2013.
Never knew it was. I go there regularly for a more “edgy” view, in light of the validation of many of those “edgy” or so called “tin foil hat” views, like the super spy net thrown over the former Republic, I see no reason why not to.
Yes. Jones’ wacky 911 trutherism is pure leftist idiocy. The man is a raving lunatic and you can tell him I said so.
Keep his bunk OFF FR!!
To the question: Yes
Absolutely. Conservatives hone our arguments if we don’t just talk to each other. Besides that, we’ll have to understand libertarian views and where they compliment conservative views. Without a meeting of the minds, there’s no way to save the US....from the dems and the ‘pubs in power.
I knew this was coming. Yeah I know, the 911 stuff was over the top ...
This site can, but I`ll go where the f*k I want and view who ever the hell I please, don`t like it DEAL!
Libertarians do a pretty good job of fighting for the homosexual agenda at FR. They are out in full force with this 'Gay Marriage' thing.
You are the boss and I agree with you, surprisingly so. (I usually don't agree with bosses)
We shouldn’t give those kooks any exposure. Screw ‘em.
Do we allow articles from the Daily Paul?
Dang, and I had just decided to start a blog...
Jim’s site. Jim’s rules.
No one can, or wants to, stop you from visiting Infowars, or DU, or KOS, if you want to.
Try posting an Alec Jones piece?
The boss has made his stance abundantly clear:
Alex Jones is just a useful idiot who makes tons of money selling this stupid crap to the gullible.
Jim Robinson has been a crusader for traditional all-American values of God, life, family, guns and liberty. When there's any doubt in a matter, I've found it wise to stand with Mr. Robinson.
Alex Jones is a despicable pig. See him terrorize Michelle Malkin at the 2008 DNC convention in Denver in this youtube clip.
Put ‘em in that conspiracy p-junction or n- junction or diode place.
There are now many sites that do that. And as you ban people, people who perhaps would donate, you encourage longer donation cycles, which are getting longer, why is that? Now this site can go Darwinian if it pleases, some will still use the links to original citing.
Now you can make them poster only, that`ll only encourage those to leave and not visit at all, further marginalizing this site. I don`t care, I`m after the info, and not an acolyte of this site or any another, so do as you please, the free-market, such as it is, will still decide.
Yup, Jones is one of those brilliant crackpots.
They can sometimes suck you in because they sound so smart and then BAM here comes the crackpot theory.
Jones is perhaps 25% crackpot 75% normal
Ron Paul is perhaps 10% crackpot and 90% normal.
Pat Buchanan is also a brilliant crackpot IMO.
I tried to post something one time from the Huffington Post. Little did I realize that nothing of any value ever can come from the Huffington Post.
So I went and found the identical article somewhere else and posted it here. Problem solved.
Good Lord. . .the man is nuts.
Alex Jones is a Michael Rivera class crackpot. Makes up conspiracy theories on the fly.
Yes. My computer actually screams “ewwwwww...ick!” whenever I inadvertently click on one on Drudge.
Also that seems to be a big site for trojans. That and Breitbart, for some reason.
Linky no worky.
You forgot the “http://" on the frontend.
Just because a broken clock is right twice a day doesn’t mean you should rely on it to tell time. At the risk of offending some and being politically incorrect, Infowars went full retard years ago, and they have never tried to take it down a notch.
bears repeating. He is a wacko.
Alex Jones never impressed me as a litigimate site.
JR steering FR throught the minefield. Thank God for sanity at the top.
This is Jim Robinson’s call. Not open to debate. It is whatever he wants it to be. FR is not a commune.
Alex Jones said 9/11 was a conspiracy caused by government, I agree with him.... However, I disagree with WHY...
Alex Jones falls into the “Hypercompetent Conspiracy Trap” where the world is ran by a bunch of hyper competent people from a “Star Chamber”. People in government are not that competent in reality they are worthless self serving slugs.
9/11 was a conspiracy of incompetence at the highest levels that Allowed jihadis to stay here on student visas and ignored calls from low level people doing their jobs at the CIA and FBI being ignored by their incompetent supervisors because they feared the political implications of actually taking actions and being called racist.
9/11 was NOT a group of government people blowing up the buildings like Wiley E Coyote with a dyno-mite plunger from Acme....
If there was a conspiracy around 9/11 it was how quickly the FBI and CIA circled the wagons to CYA themselves by saying they needed more three letter oganisations (DHS TSA) to “fill in the gaps” so they wouldn’t have to admit they were incompetent in actually doing their damn jobs.
The conspiracy is that there weren’t lines of people outside of the un-employment office come 2002 from people being fired from the FBI and CIA and having their pensions forcibly removed from them and banned from any public servent type jobs for life. Followed by promotions of those who were screaming at ther deaf ear of their superiors who did nothing.
“Yes. Jones wacky 911 trutherism is pure leftist idiocy. The man is a raving lunatic and you can tell him I said so.
Keep his bunk OFF FR!!”
19 days late, but I couldn’t agree more.
There is a HUGE difference between Beck and Jones. Beck is a sane, credible person. Alex Jones is a Useful Idiot for the left.
I agree...the guy’s “stuff” is just that and never information that you can’t get from a better source without the junk added. He’s a nutcase and loves the drama.
Well for the foreign policy perspective of Infowars...there is already a channel.
It’s called Al-jezeera
Last nite Alex Jones had the disreputable Hamas-loving Marxist witch Cynthia McKinney as a guest. My jaw dropped. I guess I should not be surprised, since he frequently has 9-11 conspiracy screwball Jesse Ventura as a guest. I believe he also made common cause with a Holocaust denier, whose name escapes me at the moment. I agree, he is a raving nut.
Alex Jones is forever banned from FR. He’s a dipweed 9/11 conspiracy nutcase. These freaks make good money just making shit up for the gullible. Not surprised liberaltarians fall for any anti-American crap that comes down the line.
Those who don’t like my position on this are welcome to post elsewhere.
