It was raining lightly, two hours after sunset, and Trayvon began to follow the man who had been following him for the last 10 minutes. The man appeared to be some sort of watchman or rent-a-cop. The watchman, now known to be George Zimmerman lost sight of Trayvon for a moment. Trayvon appears in front of George with an angry expression, demanding to know why he was being tracked and talked about in a radio-phone. Trayvon decided to end their short discussion with a slamming punch to George's face, breaking his nose, and knocking him down onto the wet manicured lawn.
Trayvon clearly announced his intention saying 'You're gonna die tonight!". Before George could recover from the shock of being punched in the face, knocked onto his back and held still in a straddling vise, George realized that Trayvon had noticed Zimmerman's gun, and was trying to pull it away. During this struggle, Trayvon used his right hand as a pummeling fist. The fingers of Trayvon's left hand kept trying to pinch Zimmerman's nostrils shut, and the open palm of that same left hand was pressed down hard against Zimmerman's now bloodied mouth, all in an effort to starve him of needed air during a moment of frantic anxiety and exertion.
Luckily for George, he kept his gun, and used it to stop Trayvon from completing the spoken plan of killing. Trayvon found it very easy, alarmingly easy to work up a fury strong enough to kill a complete stranger who was not a direct threat at that point. I can only wonder how was it that Trayvon could so easily slip into the killer's mode over a minor dispute. One can only wonder if he had seen this particular method of quick suffocation to it's completion in his short life. Had this worked for him before? Remember when the Boston Bombers where finally, thankfully brought down by the law. Very soon, they became linked to past unsolved murders. We will see if Trayvon was also in possession of his own portfolio of mortal violence, as of yet unexplained.
Treyvon Martin grows up
The media should be referring to this guy as "unarmed man Shawn Custis"
I always thought Savage was an idiot.
Now I know it for certain.
The barrel is “loose” like that when the slide is back. Most inexpensive handguns are like that. I have Taurus Millenium II that does the same thing.
Easy - generationally engrained racial hatred.
Good point. Bruises, contusions and broken teeth aren’t life threatening injuries either.
Your daily trial thread has certainly bloomed. Hope new folks are learning a lot, checking out CTH, and reading the old threads.
Re, the “Slim Jim”: I hope MoM gets the jury to connect this with TM’s unexplained 40+ minute walk home from a store five minutes away... The DeeDee’s ain’t be tellin’, and I presume Easy Match shows non-detect for Trayvon’s voice residue on the tool. Where was No Limit Jimmy ditched relative to TM’s known route and timing?
The ME’s testimony should end any talk of BdlR intentionally blowing the case — he is scaping the depths of corruption for anything. I haven’t been able to follow the trial, but hope MoM asked Rao whether she can detect a concussion or subdural hematoma from exterior photos, and if patients can self-diagnose in real time. Diagnosing a patient she has never seen demonstrates incompetence — good thing she normally deals with subjects who are already dead.
People seem disheartened by yesterday’s action; the State still has nothing, and the D has not even started! And speaking of “D’s” — the State now wants to say GZ was a legal scholar. Didn’t they already reveal that he made a D in the law class?
LOL. I don't think he asked that but that is not over by a longshot because they will bring their own ME.
