Tomorrow's "Yarnell 19" memorial is getting out of hand. a temporary cell tower is being erected in the Kohl's parking lot. SS communication? Jamming?
Semis with big-screen TVs for parking lot viewing of the memorial. TV trucks with big dish transmitters (NBC will pipe it live, and feed other networks, but lots of local tv crews).
The city finally finds it necessary to cut the weeds around the arena area. Civic center, library, local pool to all shut down.
Traffic is going to be a nightmare tomorrow. So glad I work from home. Only airport is a small one, Biden must be flying into PHX and limo-ing up I17.
This has become a circus. I understand the need for many to mourn, and there have already been memorials. This simply really frustrates me.
Aw geeze, that idiot will be there? All of the local FD and PD agencies are sending up representatives (Tucson area). I had an opportunity to ride up with one of them but work commitments interfered; sounds like it might be a bit of a mess up there. Good luck though!

Yarnell is a small town in Central Arizona. 19 hotshot firefighters died when a wildfire changed direction last week.
I just read that Slow-Joe’s planned arrival will result in the GROUNDING of all fire-fighting aircraft.

COWs are cell on wheels that are put up to handle extra phone traffic from huge crowds. I have seen them put up for Indy 500 type races, sporting events, etc.

the point of my post was that these memorials are becoming more about the event than the need. Politicians, TV, etc.
