Well, this is nothing like that.

Kitty ping...
This kitty reacts much like ours when we’ve been away, only ours refuse to talk to us for about half an hour. Then they get over it and give us a snuggle.
The best the guy can hope for is that the cat didn’t poop in his shoes...
That's because cats view their owners as their captors who the cats "tolerate."
Our cat knows our car( new 1 less than 6 months old ) and will welcome you at the door
Cats have a proper sense of decorum.
So will mine. the longest I was away from my girl was a week or so, I had a pet sitter live in. When I came home she ran right up to me.
I think this video is faked IMHO Cats are aloof but they are not that aloof
Our cat punishes us by ignoring us for a day or so.
He’s just too fat to get up!
LOL —
Love it..
Last time I returned from a week’s trip, Frisky the wonder tigress hid under the bed about an hour. When she finally ventured out, it was to complain-complain-complain quite some while.
Our cat punishes us by ignoring us until it's time to eat....LOL
Before I retired I was working the 3-11 shift. Every night when I pulled into the parking lot in front of my apartment building, I could see the silhouette of my cat in the living room window. Then he’d be sitting at the door when I opened it. Sure do miss him.
I can believe this, because I was in the hospital for a week. When I came home, most of my cats ignored me for a day or so. Then, one at a time they came back to me. Only my favorite cat came right up to me when I opened the door.
Your favorite cat was talking behind your back while you were in the horsepistol. That’s why the other two ignored you while No. 1 then sucked up upon your return.
They are devious little buggers!
(by the way, I hope all is well and you’ve fully recovered).
“The best the guy can hope for is that the cat didnt poop in his shoes...”
Beat me to it by just that much.
Mostly they wander up and look at you as if to say, “YOU didn’t feed me.” “I wonder if I can eat that?”
My cat would lift it’s nose up in the air and walk upstairs and immediately cr@p on my bedroom pillow. He did it twice before I realized this was gonna happen every time I left. I wouldn’t let him in my bedroom for about a week after returning as he seemed to forget about squeezing out my due punishment if he wasn’t able to go bombs away immediately..
