Dr. Boyce Watkins, in a commentary criticizing rap star Jay-Z for his disrespect of Harry Belafonte, made the above remark when lambasting Jay-Z for not doing more for the black community.
I am sickened that someone can compare the attempted extermination of an entire group of people to the consequences of criminal actions leading to imprisonment. Not a soul commented on that passage via the website (which I stumbled across through a Facebook "friend.")

I’d love to see this guy dumped right in the middle of Gen Pop, guy wouldn’t last five minutes.
To all of you blacks that hate America... you are no better than anyone else... you are not special... you were created equal. Look what your people have done with that privilege that we as Americans have been blessed with! Multiculturalism and affirmative action have destroyed the 1950’s and 1960’s goal of “integration”. As long as politicians and black leaders are preoccupied with getting more for the “black community” instead our common society, the racial problem will not go away. The focus on race is balkanizing our nation and destroying our common culture.
The beauty of the melting pot was immigrants assimilating voluntarily and peacefully into the American culture which was a blend of the cultures of the immigrants. American food, art, religion, music, literature, language, and history was an amalgam of the traditions and experience brought by its immigrants.
It seems today’s blacks are wedded to preserving the destructive urban ghetto culture instead of assimilating into the broader American culture. They, and their progressive white enablers, define American culture in racial terms. Instead of the melting pot it is now “white culture”. Integration is no longer the goal. Equality, in the traditional sense of “equality of opportunity” is no longer the goal. Advantage at the expense of others is now the goal (i.e. redistribution). Redistribution has never been part of the American experience nor has it been the goal of most Americans.
By refusing to join the bigger society, blacks leaders condemn the black community to an endless cycle of poverty, despair, and anger which they can exploit to maintain their dominion over their followers and their prestigious positions as spokespeople for the black community with their progressive patrons.
Well, between Obama and the Zimmerman trial, we’ve learned it’s racism to stay behind a locked door when a black man walks by, and it’s racism to get out of the car, so yeah, that’s the construct: damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
That’s too easy.....
I mean, what’s Homey to do when someone disses him?

Perhaps we should invite Watkins to VIEW that comparison?

I guess the fact the Jews did nothing wrong, and each individual black prisoner is being punished for the crimes that he or she committed is not relevant.
I am so sick of this enabling of criminals by our so-called intelegensia
Maybe I missed something, but I don’t recall the Jews committing any crimes, or the Nazis even charging them with any crimes...

Nothing but a black circle jerk and name dropping
The solution is simple, if you see a young black man, just remain in your car but don’t lock your doors.
I really wanted to believe in the American dream,but I think you are right. It is really sad. Yes, that is their culture and so many of them refuse to assilimate into American society.
Their peers pressure them to stay on the plantation, and remains slaves.
I celebrate the black conservatives, who are standing up right now. I pray for them. I support them and enjoy their company.
Think of how frustrating it is for someone like Dr. Ben Carson. He is a real trailblazer. Even in 2013 more people of African ancestry choose tribal slavery, over American freedom.

A good many overseers were and are black. In fact its one of the most overlooked problems of Detroit.
As one black conservative told me, “Low level city employees are street enforcers”. If you step too far out of line, your water meter might be removed for replacement and not replaced for a week or so. For businessmen its far worse because there are an army of inspectors to harass them.

I remember going into Detroit right after Coleman Young was elected and there was such a feeling of being watched. Of the Mafia looking to see every move.
It was an oppressive environment. Remember all the debate over that fist? It was quite obvious what Coleman was trying to tell us.
I have seen it play out here as well, in North Carolina. I worked on election day at a Black, AME church in the Raleigh area. Totally out of my zone. BUT I wanted to see what was going on.
IT literally made me cry. The fraud. The organized oppression of blacks. There is a Democratic machine that keeps these people stupid, hungry and willing to commit voter fraud. The back stabbing, the lying, the manipulations. They mock and attack each other. They are afraid of each other. They are worried the “important machine people are going to see them step out of line.”
These people are not free.
You have to see it. AND it is organized through the church, the place where people should feel free and feel peace.
I am not kidding. After seeing it for myself, I cried in despair for them.
Coleman Young was a full blown soviet style communist.
But it's worse than that because young black males are a little over 3% of the population and commit the vast majority of those murders.
So where' the REAL holocaust?
