Newspaper Editor Fired Over 'Shove It' Obama Headline
Breitbart ^ | 8/1/2013 | John Nolte

Drew Johnson, the editorial page editor of the Chattanooga Times Free Press was fired after 14 months on the job for publishing an editorial with a headline that read: "Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President." The editorial ran Tuesday, the same day Obama visited Chattanooga.

The powers-that-be posted a notice Thursday explaining the firing:

The headline was inappropriate for this newspaper. It was not the original headline approved for publication, and Johnson violated the normal editing process when he changed the headline. The newspaper’s decision to terminate Johnson had nothing to do with the content of the editorial, which criticized the president’s job creation ideas and Chattanooga’s Smart Grid. The Free Press page has often printed editorials critical of the president and his policies.

Via his (unverified) Twitter account, Johnson disputes that he was terminated for doing what he claims is standard procedure:

“I have never witnessed such a reign of terror.”

And it’s gonna get worse before it gets better!

What if he had made the exact same headline change when Bush was president?

A promotion?
A private parking spot?
A bonus?

This has Valerie Jarrett stink all over it.

Obama’s media had their chance to raise hell when they were spyed on by holder. They stayed quiet. The news was reported, but they didn’t seem to mind.
Shame of it is that when the purges begin, they won’t do anything about it.
The media pigs will willingly walk into the slaughterhouse praising the butcher.

‘This newspaper will not permit violations of its standards’

This is also dishonoring the memory of the great Johnny Paycheck. If he were alive today he just might bust this chickensh*t editor in the mouth.
