'Star Trek' Villain Michael Ansara Dies at 91

He played the great Klingon warrior Kang on three versions of "Star Trek" and a Native American on ABC's "Broken Arrow."

Michael Ansara, the rugged character actor who played Klingon commander Kang on three different Star Trek TV series, has died. He was 91 ...

Born in a small village in Syria to American parents, Ansara starred as Native Americans on two 1950s primetime series ...

They were married?!

Never knew that, but it makes sense. Because the first time I remember seeing Ansara was as Jeannie's "boss" (or at least some sort of a superior to her in the ranks of Genie-dom). Except they didn't call him a "Genie" but rather a "Jinn"(sp?)

Wouldn't be surprised if their work together on the set led to something else.

I remember Kang. Loved the character; quintessential Klingon.

Ansara had a long and full life, bless him.

I remember watch him on ‘Broken Arrow’ and ‘Law of the Plainsman’ as well as his portal of Kang on DS9.

Remember watching "Broken Arrow" on a Philco/Ford TV with two cabinet doors that would close when not watching, LOL!

Yup, me too. Watched “Broken Arrow’’, “Wagon Train’’, “Branded’’, “Johnny Yuma’’,”Sky King’’(on Saturday mornings) “Combat’’. “Combat’’ was my favorite. “Checkmate King 2, this is White Rook, over.’’ Yeah. That was TV at it’s best. And that America too. That America vanished.
