If I have to look up what half a dozen names in the first two paragraphs, the author isn’t worth it. If she wants to look like an asexual freak, that’s her choice.

I had short hair for a couple of years and loved it, but my husband missed my long hair. Now I have long hair and it is very thick, heavy, and hot in the summer months, which is uncomfortable. I usually wear it up from May through September.
There are many times that I envy women with short hair.

this whole thing is funny. I remember back in 1956 when I went to pick up my then-fiancee for a date, and found she'd gotten a pixie cut. Yes, it was a shock, but on her it did look good. Besides, I knew she'd try something else when it grew out anyway.

The only style worse on a woman than a man’s haircut, is a bun.

FWIW Dept.
My mother made me wear a pixie when I was little because she got a bug up her butt that I could only wear my hair short. I hated it. My relatives called me Sam. To this day if my hair it cut shorter than I like i have an intense emotional reaction.
At 59, you would think I would be over it. Some traumas stay forever.

I guess Im old fashioned
I will never get a pixie cut. Most men like longer hair.
