Survivor: Blood vs. Water is the 27th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 18, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Redemption Island returns, but with a twist: remaining players will be forced to choose whether to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing their partner to immediately re-enter the game, or leave them in exile to survive on their own.
As with the last two seasons, this season takes place in the Philippines, but in a different location: Palaui Island, Cagayan.

Tadhana Tribe (loved ones - red buffs): Brad, Caleb, Ciera, Hayden, John, Katie, Laura B, Marissa, Rachel, Vytas

This should be known as Survivor: Family break-up.
I always thought ‘Survivor’ was the wrong title.
It seemed to me that it should have been called ‘Whose the biggest Assh*le?’
I love Survivor, but I really wish they would stop bringing back people. If they were medically put out....ok, but just because you were voted off the island should not merit a return IMHO.
It will be interesting to find out who draws first blood.
YAYYYY Rupert is back. Love the guy hope he wins the challenge.
I do hope it will be a bloody good show.
This is one reason I do NOT watch “the big four”, i.e., abc, nbc, cbs, and pbs.
Another left hand to watch while the right hand steals from you.
When does the season start???
September 18.
Right off the bat I’d say the returning players have a huge advantage over the team with their family members.
Everything from challenges to how the game is played.
Just a cursory view before the start says that:
1) Setting up scenarios for them to turn on one another is what much of this will be all about.
2) Boyfriends/girlfriends/fiances are going to be the weakest bonds.
3) Husbands/wives will share the $1M no matter which one wins.
Not much turning until the merge. Not on the same teams.
Blah, I hate RI. It takes too much time away from the real game. I’d be sorry, honey bunny, you get yourself sent to Redemption Island island, you get yourself off.
Three previous million dollar winners and Colton. Right now I’d like to see anyone but these four people win the million.
I’m leaning toward Time Warner Cable being the biggest clymer. No cBS for me at the moment.
This is the week — I don’t like it already.
Too many of the same old faces and that jackass Colton [with lover] who should be the first to go for not playing well with others.
Since we have 4 million dollar winners in the group, let’s see if those 4 will coallide together to keep from being sent home early.
Maybe they changed the name of Redemption Island to Divorce Island or Family Breakuup Island.
