A student at Texas Tech University appears to be the first American to have his driver’s license photo taken — and to successfully obtain a driver’s license — while wearing a pasta strainer on his head.
The student, Eddie Castillo, pulled off the stunt by claiming to practice Pastafarianism and belong to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, reports KLBK.
The Texas Tech student added that he was surprised that he succeeded in Lubbock because of its reputation as a bastion for conservatism.

Making a point about Muslims being able to wear their hijab in photos...
Is that still a felony or have they changed that law/regulation after being ridiculed so much for it?
I think I still have one of those shirts, but the silk screening was so crappy that it might be legal again with so much missing.

Castillo also expressed his hope that he isn’t seen as “poking fun at religious head-wear in other peoples’ faiths.” Instead, he said, he hopes his action “opens the doors for new-age religion” and “celebrates in a sense that we are a melting pot of a country.”
He seemed pretty concerned that a religion that has head-wear not be insulted. However he fought against creation being taught in schools.

Wait till he is pulled over for a traffic violation! They will realize they are dealing with a dumbass.
We worked with a man who was so dumb he didn’t know he was dumb!
He got pulled over and the cops immediately realized he was a dumbass! They even told him he was dumb, so dumb they wouldn’t even give him a ticket!
He was so dumb he came to work and told everyone all about it.

Pastafarians listen to Spaghettae music and like Bob Lasagnaley.
“Pastafarians” are a bunch of smarty-pants atheists who love to ridicule people of faith for worshipping “skydaddy” or, “your imaginary friend”. “Flying Spaghetti Monster” is just the atheists’ latest thumbing their nose at the Almighty.
But this dude who think he’s soooooo smart (like most atheists) is going to realize in the next few traffic stops that he made an abysmally stupid decision. They allowed the photo with the strainer since it doesn’t hide the face. Muslim women CAN be photographed in hijab since it doesn’t hide facial features.
But it leaves members of both categories somewhat `marked’.
Perhaps pastafarian is a break away of the subgenius sect
