Obama mocks GOP for ‘crazy’ Obamacare predictions

With just five days to go before Americans can begin signing up for health care under his signature law, President Barack Obama on Thursday ridiculed Republican opponents for “crazy” doomsday predictions of the impact and forecast that even those who didn’t vote for him are going to enroll.

With polls showing many Americans still skeptical of the law known as “Obamacare,” the president went back to the basics of explaining how nearly 50 million uninsured Americans will be able to buy coverage in new government-run exchanges while mocking Republicans for trying to block its implementation. “The closer we get, the more desperate they get,” Obama argued. …

Cutting hours, dropping employees and families from coverage - these are happening

NOW.

No “crazy predictions” - observations.

The original estimated cost was $850,000,000,000. Now it’s $2,000,000,000,000. The republicans should ask “Would you be happy if we fund your original lie?”

It’s so wonderful that everyone responsible for it isn’t using it. Congress asked the Kenyan for a waiver and he gave it to them.

If you’re not self employed they can take the fine from your paycheck.

What’s really going to hurt the government monster is when everyone starts claiming 12 dependents and no money is deducted from all the paychecks.

If I have to claim 12 dependents, then that is what I will do!

It’s not impossible to counteract ridicule. Alinsky was wrong. Once the one doing the ridiculing is exposed as a liar and monster, they have failed.

You’re not the only one who is refusing to buy into this, I would say probably half the country won’t as well. I have a lot of lib friends who say they aren’t. The fact is the majority of the people wanted nothing to do with this debacle, yet because we live under a soft tyranny they shoved it down our throats. The first letter they send me is getting sent back with a photo of my middle finger.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Like they have a choice?

This isn’t a prediction it’s an arrogant slap in the face.

Eventually we will all enroll when this mess turns into single payer Gubmint Insurance.

Is that like he mocked us when we told him it was foolish to pour fuel on the fire of Arab Spring? Is it like he mocked us when we told him throwing money at alternative energy was a waste? Is it like he has mocked us when we tell him the way to bring back the economy is by letting job creators keep more of their money? Obama thinks himself a king, but he is really the fool.

Keeping your doc might be a problem, as many physicians are going to law school now, retraining for a more profitable career than medicine.

I’m pretty sure you can claim up to 12 dependents to reduce your weekly deduction. Then claim your real number when you do the taxes. Look for an edict from the dictator making it illegal to claim more dependents than you actually have.

You'll pay an underwithholding penalty by doing this.

orecast that even those who didn’t vote for him are going to enroll.

I actually think that is an extremely revealing look into the hyper-partisanship of this administration, and how it uses government to pay off supporters.

That Obama actually thought it was an important point to make that Obamacare would be used by people who did NOT vote for him, suggests that MOST of the stuff he does he knows only benefits those who vote for him.

Obamacare is the law. Everybody HAS to sign up for insurance, or else they get a huge tax bill. So OF COURSE they are going to sign up for it -- it is a requirement. Of course, Obama regularly ignores laws he doesn't like, but most of us obey the law.

Interesting that he didn't say that people would LIKE Obamacare. Because nobody seems to right now. Even the people who will force us to continue with it say it is lousy.
