Peter Cook & Dudley Moore (In the pub)
By far, Peter Cook’s “The Miner” -
It just gets funnier as it goes. On. And on. And on.
Thanks. Looking forward to watching.
LOL! He had to put the “sex element” in it. :) Still watching.
That was good. “I’ve got hold of the wrong load trappings.”
Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were the centerpoints of a BritComic group known as “Beyond the Fringe” widely recognized as the seed from which Monty Python sprang.
I remember listening to BTF in college back in the 60s and then coming home from The Army in the early 70s to find that Monty Python had taken the torch and run with it.
Here is another classic BTF featuring Alan Bennet as a Preacher -
And if this has whet your appetite, then the entire BTF revue, all two hours worth -
They were great as the orphans in “The Wrong Box” and the Devil and his target in “Bedazzled”.
Thanx for the laugh plus the many youtube links to more.
