For the past two and a half weeks – sadly partially silenced by the government shutdown and debt ceiling drama – Obamacare as an information system has been melting down since enrollment in the “exchanges” or “marketplaces” for health insurance went live at the HealthCare.gov website on October 1, 2013. It’s clear that the situation is bad, and is starting to alarm even the most forgiving to the President and his policies, as liberal Statist sites like The Huffington Post publish articles with titles like “Obamacare Website Failure Threatens Health Coverage for Millions of Americans”.
The actual file name of that post is simply delicious: “obamacare-train-wreck_n_4118041.html”.
We’re starting to see lots of material being published about how HealthCare.gov came into being, and either baffled disappointment or a sense of “what else did you expect?” at how a web application project that as much as $634 million has been spent on can’t handle user loads, deliver simple web pages, or manage to correctly display drop-down list box contents, much less enroll millions of uninsured Americans for soon-to-be-universally-mandated health coverage.
It’s also been reported that of the people who have managed to actually not have HealthCare.gov error on them and get themselves enrolled that incorrect information has been passed to the insurers via the government’s website and that possible compromises of personal information (leaving enrollees vulnerable to identity theft) have both occurred.

So do I. They can not ask us, much less force us to pay money to Obumbo’s Marxist regime. I have my own healthcare plan which has no connection to the USSA.
I will not return, even to visit. America is not even close to being the country that I left ten years ago. There is no way that it can recover in my lifetime.
Although it isn’t going to same time or security protection since the worker who reviews your paper application must manually enter the information from your forms into the same system. They need to get it working.

IIRC the website is in PHP, for security and data-integrity saying that PHP will be fixed is, well, polishing a turd.
This is due to how the language itself plays fast-and-loose with data-types.
Anyone who had anything to do with enacting this law and promoting and legitimizing it (like Obama, HHS, Congresspeople who voted for it, John Roberts, etc.) should be forced to enroll in ObamaCare and live under its constraints.
Object all sublime, to let the punishment fit the crime, the punishment fit the crime.

If they can force us to pay taxes to a country we do not live in. prevent us obtaining bank accounts and mortgages they could lay this burden upon us as well.

I hear ya. All my years assimilating language and culture don’t seem so much a fun hobby now as much a potential survival tool.
And you are right that it is their goal to wear good people down.
One thing that may help you if you haven't thought of this already. Sometimes I take a few days off completely from watching/reading the news. I do something else like read a couple of light books (not political), take some drives, some hikes and I amazed how refreshing it is not to think about what's going on in DC.
Often this restores my energy. All the best to you.
