No one in the media has brought this up yet,but it is something to ponder over.Lets assume the exchange sight is about 9% built.(which is a fair assumption).Now, isn't next week a busy "Vacation Week"?,So wouldn't you think that these guys working on the health-care exchange website are also off? Off To See Grandma and Grandpa/Mommy Daddy, etc.? Looks like the Democrats didn't take that into consideration when "They Assured Us That The Site Will Be Ready On December 1.{Hmm,Maybe Stoobelius meant "12/1/14"}
Obamacare is the ultimate knock-out punch to the USA. Obama knows this. It doesnt matter to him if Obamcare works or not: The punch has already been thrown. Democrats stand around and laugh at our wounded nation.
The rest of the code is stuffed into the Turkey. Its part of The Plan.
this will be the next liberal dufass excuse,,,awww, Gosh Darn it! we forgot that Thanksgiving comes in November!
Gads... Just splitting up a big project into coding tasks for that army of programmers and reassembling the results into a usable application afterwards seems to me to be more work than just letting one or two good coders power through the thing with a couple cases of JOLT, a Dominos expense account and a long weekend.
I know some guys who worked on this project. Good developers were burned out by 12hr workdays 12hrs travel per week if they got home on Friday.
They quit like anyone would working in a sweatshop. I lucked out and missed that project.
I think expectations have already been lowered so much that few expect the website to be fixed by November 30:
A more pressing problem is they probably will get it going before long. It will be the most horrendous clusterfix in the history of the US, but someday it will work
What, another vacation? The “programmers” have already been on an extended vacation.
One of the few times I’ve ever had to call a computer help line was on Thanksgiving and it went to India.
All for a giant turd on their resume too.
A Dirty Sanchez Burrito Resume.
On Dec 1 they will just stop taking "responsibility", whatever that means to a democrat, and start blaming the users.
"What do you mean it isn't working? We had it working on Dec 1, until YOU broke it."
Hard deadlines cancel a lot of holidays and vacations. When i was in a startup we worked every day but Thanksgiving one TG weekend. Only took off Christmas day that year too.
