Texans Allege ‘Fishy’ Adjustments By The Patriots
CBS Houston ^

Posted on 12/01/2013 8:42:32 PM PST by Perdogg

The Texans defense struggled against Tom Brady and the Patriots. But then again, who doesn’t?

After the Texans 34-31 loss, defensive end Antonio Smith made it clear he thought Brady had a little extra help in carving up their defense to the tune of 365 passing yards.

Guess the “Wowboys” are back in luck because they have succeeded when the rest of their division is weak as it is now. Predicted 20 years ago that the Cowboys would not win another division title for 20 years. Looks like it may be that kind of season again unless the Eagles can hang in there. I have a strong subjective dislike for Jerry Jones. Obviously he does some community good but so does a lot of organized crime when it suits their purpose.

The night before the Bronco’s game last week, someone pulled the fire alarm at two in the morning, causing the hotel to evacuate. They now leave a day early just in case. Yes, Bellachek is a cheater. [A man with a hoody and the team logo was seen leaving the scene.] Added for fun.

Nope.

The only thing I was wrong about is that it was Roger Goodell and not Tagliabue.

When a stand-up guy like Kurt Warner says “they knew what plays we were going to run” you know somethings up.

Same with Marshall Faulk and Issac Bruce, 3 guys that are some of the most respected to have ever played the game and will all end up in the HOF

Belichick was fined $500,000 and the team was fined $250,000 because of the Spygate incident. The Patriots also forfeited a first-round draft pick.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3225539

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3244687

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/536958-cheating-as-much-as-patriot-fans-hate-to-hear-it-spygate-may-never-go-away

Of course Goodell is going to destroy the evidence and say that SB 36 wasn’t comprimised - Billions are bet on the SB and if any evidence came out that the outcome of the game was comprimised due to cheating, what would happen to the multi-Billion dollar industry known as the NFL?

It would cost them Billions, along with the gaming establishments.

Goodell fined Billicheck and the Patriots 750k and a 1st round pick for taping a regular season game practice. You don’t think this is the first and only time they did that?

And they certainly wouldn’t do it in the biggest game in franchise history at the time under Billicheck, would they?

HOF Running Back Marshall Faulk:

“Am I over the loss? Yeah, I’m over the loss. But I’ll never be over being cheated out of the Super Bowl. That’s a different story,” Faulk said, according to a story by Tom Curran of Comcast SportsNet New England. “I can understand losing a Super Bowl, that’s fine . . . But how things happened and what took place. Obviously, the commissioner gets to handle things how he wants to handle them but if they wanted us to shut up about what happened, show us the tapes. Don’t burn ‘em.”

Either that statement is slanderous and actionable, or it’s true.

The fact that neither the Patriots or the NFL chose to take legal actions for defamation speaks volumes.

“Faulk says the Rams installed new plays for the game against the Patriots, and that the Patriots seemed to be so perfectly prepared for them that Faulk believes they must have used espionage.

“I understand Bill is a great coach,” Faulk said. “But No. 13 [Kurt Warner] will tell you. Mike Martz will tell you. We had some plays in the red zone that we hadn’t ran. . . . And a couple of plays on third down that we walked through also . . . And they created a check for it. It’s just little things like that. It’s either the best coaching in the world when you come up with situations that you had never seen before. Or you’d seen it and knew what to do.”

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/30/marshall-faulk-patriots-cheated-the-rams-out-of-a-super-bowl/

Like I said, Kurt Warner is arguably the most honest, stand up guy ever to play in the NFL and the last guy to accuse anyone of cheating.

Same with Faulk and Issac Bruce and others that have said the same thing.

Have the Patriots won a SB since the Spygate scandal broke?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3246788

“Arlen Specter heard that explanation from Goodell on Wednesday. On Thursday, Specter said, “The words absurd and ridiculous keep coming to my mind because he [Goodell] says it with a straight face.”

Specter said it was unsettling to learn that the tapes, as well as notes, turned over by the Patriots in September had been destroyed in Foxborough, Mass., rather than in the league’s New York offices. Aiello said that the documents and tapes were destroyed after they were reviewed by NFL officials Jeffrey Pash and Ray Anderson and that the call to destroy the material came from Goodell, saying “There’s no further use for it, so he said get rid of it.”

Specter said the league’s suggestion that the material, particularly the notes dating to the 2002 season, was destroyed because it might have afforded a competitive advantage is unbelievable.

“Everything has changed,” he said. “Nobody could use those — they are scrap paper — except [as] evidence.”

With the evidence destroyed, Specter said there is no way to tell what advantage the Patriots might have gained in the illegal taping practice.”

Again, why destroy the evidence?

Would that fly in a court of law?

Of course not. Not only that, destroying evidence would land you in jail.

If there’s nothing to see, why was the evidence destroyed?

And that’s the evidence that was turned over to the NFL

What else wasn’t?

And again, anyone that thinks Billicheck did it just once is very naive or gullible.

The evidence against Billicheck and the Patriots is overwhelming. Too bad it was destroyed and no one except for a select few have seen it and that no one ever will, even US Congressman Arlen Spector and Patrick Leahy.

So apparently this Patriot Act turned out to be some massive surveillance by east coast liberals in the heartland.

Or did Brady just tell the guys to run where there wasn’t anyone hanging around and look for the football. This is how most people play football, it’s not rocket science.

I imagine this devilish plan to defend was essentially an instruction to stand around in different places than usual before the ball was snapped, then move to other different places later. Yeah, that’s gonna confuse Tom Brady a whole lot, dudes.

What was the plan against the guy who routinely kicks the 50 yard field goals, lower tops on the cheerleaders?

Sort of like professional wrestling.

I’m sure that the day you stop beating your spouse the Patriots won’t be cheating.

No one can come up with a reasonable response as to why Goodell destroyed evidence, other than to say “sore loser”?

Amazing intellect on display here.

You don’t get fined 750k and lose a 1st round pick for nothing.

Some of you sound like Hillary “What difference does it make?” Clinton.

No, but that would increase audience participation!

Patriots all year long have started slowly against every team, and then almost always seem to come back in the second half with something like 21 unanswered points. I think the Miami game showed me the entire game is fixed for certain teams.

Yeah. When the conspiracy theories just aren’t enough to encompass a politician, the Bilderbergs and Rothschilds have to bring sports into it.

I can see them inside the NFL control rooms now:

BILDERBERG: “Hey! We have a Texan who just ran into the Patriot’s punt returner!” (reaches to push the Penalty Button...)

ROTHSCHILD: Not so fast! Think of all the possible consequences of pushing that button right now. It is IMPORTANT that people somehow perceive that the Patriots are a team of destiny, so we have to make them think something or someone is on their side!”

BILDERBERG: “I just don’t understand this game of American Football! I thought that if I DID press the button to have the penalty called, then people would gripe about it because the Patriots get ALL the calls?” How does NOT calling an obvious penalty like running into the punt returner (and the non-call against the Panthers) somehow make the Patriots “The Chosen Ones”?

ROTHSCHILD: “It is reverse psychology, my inexperienced and dense old friend. Well, we have much to overcome. The National Enquirer found out about our NFL control room a few years ago, and we turned their near-disasterous disclosure into a nice windfall from Buffalo Wild Wings, who parodied it so effectively that the public ridiculed the Enquirer saying they got their idea for the story from the Buffalo Wild Wing ads. We lucked out, but all I am saying is, we need to be careful.”

And some of us sound like:

"...Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers..."

It’s so funny to see all the little Patriot haters scurrying about whenever some loser accuses them of cheating. The truth is that the pat’s coaches are better at making both in-game and halftime adjustments than nearly anyone else, and Tom Brady is brilliant at executing them.

Typical liberal type response. Resort to childish name-calling when you can’t refute the facts.

And you’re calling me a loser?

You must not have any mirrors in your house.

No, factual but long for the thick-headed.

What did I post that was “silly” or false?

Nothing.

Which is why you won’t refute it. Because you can’t.

Man up, or can’t you do that either?

There’s a really good reason to destroy the tapes: they don’t matter anymore. Once the punishment was levied they were just tapes, not evidence, evidence is for crimes, there was no crime here, just violation of kind of stupid rules. Yes they broke the rules, and got punished, happens all the time. We’ve got multiple teams with cap penalties right now for violating the cap, they broke the rules and got punished. Does that make those teams evil forever more? No, means they broke the rules and got punished.

They’re called half time adjustments, you see what your team is doing well and not, you see what the other team is doing well and not, and you tweak your plan accordingly. Belichick has a long history of being the half time adjustment master, he’s also the rematch master. He learns.
