Researchers announced today that two men they previously believed to be “cured” of HIV are now showing traces of the virus in their blood.
Dr. Timothy Henrich, associate professor of infectious diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, announced the resurgence of the virus at an international conference on AIDS research in Florida Thursday, the Boston Globe reported. He said the fact that these two men were showing signs of HIV means that the virus can lurk in places in the body where it is hard to find.
“This suggests that we need to look deeper, or we need to be looking in other tissues … the liver, gut, and brain,” Henrich said. “These are all potential sources, but it’s very difficult to obtain tissue from these places so we don’t do that routinely.” …

Did the researchers mistakenly assume the subjects would refrain from their deviant behavior?
They didn't get the message the last time they were infected?
Uh, isn’t it true that our bodies are full of all kinds of viruses, cancer cells, etc. It’s up to the immune system to fight these things.
I can’t say that I’m surprised.
Well, I guess the HIV virus just snuck up on them from behind?

Does this mean they caught a new care of AIDS or that their old case just re-immerged?

Possibilities are:
1) never where cured in the first place and the virus was only reduced to the point where it was undetectable.
2) they were cured but their lifestyle enabled reinfection

There are many homosexual men who do not believe there is a connection between HIV and AIDS. There are also many more who purposefully go out hoping to get HIV. More evidence that homosexuality is a mental disorder.
okay, okay, okay, wait a minute...let me get this straight. They put something somewhere that was never intended to do what they are doing and they just suppose that nothing bad could possibly happen...huh, go figure. You mean mother nature has a way of correcting the mistakes we humans make...
Either is clearly possible, although I’m inclined to doubt that there was a cure. There’s been too much of an emotional and political investment by too many in believing that this disease is curable. What if it isn’t?

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
