Clearly satire.

I would hope so, but: The posters on the website didn't seem to think so. And, on a quick read of the site, I didn't find any satire reference.

The quotes give it away... If Mary has a D in math she will get an A in math if she studies the Qur’an after school. Lol.

“If any parents of students would like to volunteer and teach the Muslim religion you can call the Nationwide Muslim Youth Outreach hotline at (785) 273-0325”

I would summize that a big surprise is in store for those that call this number...

I don’t see anything that indicates satire. But the site has other articles that appear to be ‘out there’, as in nut-job conspiracy stuff. Who knows?

In my opinion it’s really time to stop the posting of Satire. Garbage like this is NOT entertainment or funny in any way. We are in an uphill battle to get the truth out and stuff like this is gradually destroying one of our most valuable tools. There are posters here that put up satire on a regular basis knowing some will fall for the gag. In my opinion nonsense like this is harmful as some will not catch the fact that its written as satire and attempt to spread this as truth. Then when it comes out they’ve been had it destroys credibility of Freerepublic and the truth about the conservative message.

I did some additional research on line. Yeah, it looks like satire. But, these days, you never can tell.

Do I believe he’d like to do something like this? Yep. But, at least this year, it would have to be cleverly injected into some tolerance sub-topic of Common Core than so baldly stated.

The article at the site does not identify itself as satire. The problem is that this is totally believable as something the Imposter in the White House would do.

President Obama announced plans for the first ever federally funded Muslim outreach program.

Wonder what he FAILS to understand the fact we have a 40 trillion dollar unfunded debt?.

Just have to do research on bits and pieces in the article like names and phone numbers and locations of businesses and schools.

The person who sent it to me posted it as not satire. And while there are a few people at the site saying it isn’t true, most find it believable. (I did, too. One of my sister’s sons - age 7 - refused to do a school project. They kept coming up with other ‘alternatives’ for him, even drawing a picture about the subject just so he would do something. They were willing to give him full credit, so I could believe these days that you could pass math by learning about Islam.)

At any rate, I tried to find a way to contact someone in charge of the site with no luck. And I’ve now gone back to the person who sent it to me to warn them also.

Sorry for the bother!

I saw that too on the tea party website

It was on Pat Dollard too

NOT Satire - it is in common core!

Read what Maggie’s notebook says about skpe-ing with Muslims in common core.

And it is already happening in TN

So, did you ever prove this to be satire? I even snoped it...it seems to be true.

Thanks very much for the links. Not that I’m glad to find that it’s really real. :-(

Proof? I found a few references which implied it was satire. A site I haven't been to before, Pat Dollard's site, ran it without comment, as if it were true. But, I think a much bigger stink would have been raised by now if it were true.
