Freeper novel free today on Amazon.com
Self ^ | 1/10/2014 | Bern Pearson

Posted on 01/10/2014 10:51:34 AM PST by Gen.Blather

My novel “The Minor God,” by Bern Pearson, is free today on Amazon.com. It is fantasy, but its basis is conservative. So many writers use some liberal progressive meme like anthropomorphic global warming or a future without money as everybody works for enlightenment or self-actualization. (I found it hard to watch the later Star Trek episodes and movies for that reason.)

This is about a young man who discovers that everything he ever believed is false. Suddenly, there's a price on his head and he has nowhere to go and no one to turn to. To make matters worse, he's opened a doorway he can't find and can't close and something is reaching through it for him.

If you like it please put a link on any other channels you have access to.

My sincerest thanks. Bern Pearson Gen.Blather

Okay, I love you. The Havelock series (except for the pheromone spray and the nuclear weapon) are mostly true. The events, no matter how outrageous, up to and including a dead body in the office (heat attack) are true, are true for a given value of true. (Meaning not necessarily happening to me.) The black widow and her daughters had killed any number of husbands. Enjoy. (Oh, the suitcases full of $100 bills happened to me. My company was supplying radios to the Contras.)

“sniffles. It’s only available on Kindle?”

Whoa! STOP! You can get a free Kindle ap for your PC. You can get a free one for your phone. If you have something else go to Google and put in “Kindle to Android Killer Reader Ap” (or, whatever) and it will take to one. Tell me what you have and I’ll find you a translator!

For God’s sake, don’t cry!

OK Now I’m even more intrigued... I’ll start reading it today!

I have the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad. Love it. No Kindle required. Dry your eyes.

Thank you, just downloaded it. Not a big fantasy fan but I am a fan of well written books. Will give it a try.

Dial-up!? (Reacts in horror.)

Try this.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId=1000493771

You can download a reader to your PC and print it, 250 pages, or read it on screen.

And, it’s free! (I’ve now used my quota of exclamation points.)

Oooo. Dragonblustar! The sequel is “A Plague of Dragons.” I hope to list it in March.

“Not a big fantasy fan but I am a fan of well written books.”

Try the Havelock Pigeon books. Almost everything in them is true and a lot of it happened to me. (Not the murders. Or, the nuclear weapon.) But there was a tech killed by the incredibly exotic method I used in the second book. (Radar.)
