Bush.......2002: U.S. Consulate In Karachi, Pakistan, Attacked; 10 Killed, 51 Injured;2004: U.S. Embassy Bombed In Uzbekistan;2004: Gunmen Stormed U.S. Consulate In Saudi Arabia;2006: Armed Men Attacked U.S. Embassy In Syria;2007: Grenade Launched Into U.S. Embassy In Athens;2007:2008: Rioters Set Fire To U.S. Embassy In Serbia;2008: Ten People Killed In Bombings At U.S. Embassy In Yemen......and on whose watch was 9/11?

Nor did he ever INVENT a story about “protest against a video”.
The ONLY person to be punished for Bengazi —indeed arrested in the middle of the night before the kleig lights of 4 news teams— was a guy who HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
The transmit key in the coms room was keyed the ENTIRE TIME over the course of the eight hour attack, with them BEGGING for help.
With such a large op with so many personnel, WHY didn’t they have heavy weapons for the Bengazi defenders?
Cuz the emergency plan was to rely on massive AIR-POWER, which was why the SEALs were painting targets with designator.
THE SEALS WERE FOLLOWING THE PLAN THAT HAD BEEN WORKED OUT AHEAD OF TIME.
The ONLY entity to TOTALLY FAIL to do their job was the WHITE HOUSE.
Remind me, when did Bush deny any of those? When did he blame it on a movie no one saw?
Terrorists hit embassies all the time.
We don’t always claim it wasn’t terrorists. And we don’t always leave our men to die and order every possible rescue effort to “stand down”.
It wasn’t the attack. It was the torrent of lies after the attack.
Imagine The Lone Survivor had PERFECT radio communication directly to the White House.
Imagine that the White House had REAL TIME FOOTAGE of our guys being shot and driven over cliffs:
AND THAT THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP THEM —THAT was Bengazi.

Reports that I heard, repeatedly, were that the two volunteer defenders that entered the fray and were killed were former Seals, no longer part of USNavy but employed by some other agency, either U. S. Govt. or under contract to U. S. govt., and of their own personal volition ran to the sound of the guns to render whatever aid they could.
The track record of attacks on our embassies just makes the administration’s failure to heed warnings even more despicable.
True, though Bush did say the Iraq war was over or similar.... Now I can’t believe we had a president as “good” as Bush (and I was not a bush fan).
Yes, against orders. They upset whatever it was that was going down, and rescued a couple dozen people in so doing. We hear about the two embassy guys that died, but don’t hear about the 25 or so who were also there, who were rescued against orders.

Just to be clear, he never said the war was over. He was lambasted when he visited a ship whose mission was complete, and they had a banner saying “mission complete”.
That was the one where he co-piloted the training jet out to the aircraft carrier.
