This squirrel apparently used to live with the cat as another pet in this woman’s home. The squirrel finally went out on its own, but still comes back from time to time to play with the cat.

Omg, that is so cute.
I live in a town that has both gray and black ones. I have a squirrel feeder aka cat tv. It’s 3/4 gray to 1/4 black, and the black ones are smaller and their tails aren’t as bushy.

I got along really well with one of my brothers and one of my sisters. The other two, meh.

You’re right. There are many examples of interspecies feeding of orphaned pups or kittens.
If the litters are raised together, they tend to identify the other species as family for life.
The cat and the squirrel were raised together. Lifelong friendship ensued. It’s great.
That is too funny! How many of us get that close to a squirrel to check? Bravo!!!!
