Now it all makes sense. This week I heard Glenn Beck on his radio show, talking about his pro-gay stance. I could never figure out why Glenn Beck and his organization, his Mike Opelka, and his Donelly of the 9`12-ers, had been cold to me, in some cases downright mean. It’s the gay thing!! So many divisions in the conservative movement!
He said Donelly ran a gay parade! No wonder why she never returned my call. I publicly said there should not be homosexual themes on primetime TV shows like Glee where innocent children are watching and thus being indoctrinated into anti-Biblical ideas and lifestyles.
I publicly stood up for Biblical principles, that’s all. I don’t dislike any people group. I got a lot of flack from the media.
So, I guess Glenn Beck is now including the conservative gays, and excluding the conservative Bible-thumpers like me. Sigh.
I guess Mormons don’t take the Holy Bible so seriously, because their main book is the Book of Mormon, which I suppose doesn’t mention that homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord.
Interesting. I finally know why Glenn Beck never answered my TV show pitch idea! He’s Bible-phobic!!
I’m just wondering, how Beck will feel when his child or grandchild comes home from kindergarten with the book, “Susie has Two Daddies.” This issue is not just about freedom. His child will believe homosexuality is normal and not a sin. So, I guess the Bible is a lie?
(Also, won’t that mean the preaching of the Holy Bible will be considered “hate speech” and eventually made illegal? So…no freedom of religion? No freedom of speech?)

The “insufficiently conservative” thing does get a little old. If (one) tries hard enough it is possible to eliminate every voice as failing to meet the mark in one way or another.
I don’t presume to be joined at the hip to any pundit but rather take what I want and what is useful from all of them and ignore the rest.

Now he's dissing his own tv show that used to be on Fox News.
He's always saying he is going to announce something soon that will rock the world or some such. Then when the day comes, he doesn't even mention what happened to his announcement.
He had his big 9/12 march, but he planned it about the same time as the Tea Party's march. No one knew which one to go to. Most people could not take the time off for both marches. The marches were about a week apart.
Glenn Beck was on Megan Kelly last night. He’s turned into a real nut job.
I agree. Huntsman is writing the scripts. Beck used the Tea Party and now calls anyone who disagrees with gay marriage hateful.
The only reason, I’m against gay marriage is because they will now have the right to adopt. I don’t think that is right. I could care less if two men or women live together, but I absolutely don’t want to allow them to adopt and bring children up in their lifestyle. I guess according to Beck that makes me hateful.

I stand by my post. How can you say the Mormons believe that the Bible is trustworthy and accurate if the whole basis of their formation was that Joey Smith needed to “restore the gospel” because it was corrupted and unreliable? This is pretty basic stuff, I don’t see how anyone can dispute it with a straight face.
Mormons believe in the Bible as much as Muslims do, which is not much.
Beck lost me over the past two days and he used the same rhetoric against REAL CHRISTIANS that cuomo used against Conservatives.
Exactly... anyone that says homosexuals are deviants and abhorrent to GOD are haters according to Beck.
I think more specifically what he said is that he doesn’t think homosexuals should be put into ovens.
I don’t think they should be put into ovens because they live a different lifestyle.
Because next someone may classify my lifestyle as a hard working Christian as “different” and decide I need to be put into an oven..
What I heard Beck say today is that he will no longer discuss abortion or homosexuality on his show. That it is too “divisive”. Hating is wrong but how does one speak of either of these evils as a Christian without using the Bible as a guide... and how is not discussing such subjects being a good Christian? All that I know is that I cannot support Beck and his stance.
It really is very hard... but it makes us better Christians when we try.
Glenn Beck is nothing more than a garden-variety huckster who also just happens to be a complete nutjob. I saw him last night on the Kelly File where he puts on his fake, sanctimonious face and declares that he had no idea how “fragile” our country was and how HIS Fox TV show was responsible for dividing our country so severely, and if only he had known all of that then, he would have changed his show to heal our country and bring it back together again in unity. Not only is Beck a huckster and nutjob, he’s a douchebag and a fraud.

I agree. Beck also said he stands with GLADD on this issue. Why stand with GLADD, there is NO reason to stand with GLADD.
I can disagree and be disgusted with what that Russian said but it doesn't mean I need to stand with GLADD.
I'm a woman and I don't stand with NOW. I can support many issues without supporting some crazed group that is a front for political oppression.
GLADD isn't any better than that mouthy Russian and GLADD is more evil because they are a group trying to force sin and their politics on individuals. The Russian was and individual expressing his ugly heart.

I don’t think he’s trying to push the Homosexual lifestyle or anything like that.
I think maybe he just phrased it wrong.
Ultimately the Libs in this country try and paint Conservatives like Glenn as someone just like the Russian guy who wants to put people in the ovens.
So.. he went out of his way to paint a different picture that he’s not a guy that would put someone in an oven.
Even standing with an organization he vehemently disagrees with because this topic in question “putting people into ovens” is so heinous.
