Mother supports son, 18, who was kicked out of high school for starring in gay porn

End of Title: . . . to pay family bills

The mother of a student who was kicked out of high school after starring in gay porn to help pay his family's bills said she couldn't be prouder.

Melyssa Lieb, from Cocoa, Florida, said she vehemently supports her son, 18-year-old Robert Marucci, who was suspended from his high school after classmates discovered his explicit career.

'I think he's the most awesome person in the world,' she told WKMG through tears. 'He stood up and he was the man of the house when I couldn't be.'

Following outrage over his suspension, the school district has now ruled that the decision was wrong and Marucci is allowed back to school on Wednesday.

***

Even after his suspension, Marucci remained unapologetic for the work he considers no different any other job. He pointed out that it is legal and doesn't believe a school can tell him where he can work.

The debacle began two weeks ago when fellow students at Cocoa High School discovered his videos on an adult website and started showing each other the explicit images on their phones.

***

But Marucci's mother wasn't the only one who supported him, as dozens staged a walkout at the school on Friday. A Facebook group was also set up to support him.

As I understand it, after schoolmates found out and kidded him, he said he was going to bring a gun to school and kill them

Part of me wonders if the “mom” is only 15 years older than this guy, and how many of her boyfriends had their way with him when he was a boy.

The Wolf of Wall Street, Leonardo DiCapprio, and Martin Scorcese told young America that you are a chump if you go to work at McDonald’s or become a wage slave at some office someplace.

Get on that gravy train baby. Cocaine, sex, and whatever you can scam.

No wonder the rest of the world has contempt for The Enternal American.

When the porn started coming into the school via cellphones and hallway discussion, it entered the realm of school actionable items.

RE :”As I understand it, after schoolmates found out and kidded him, he said he was going to bring a gun to school and kill them”

That would do it.
Good as excuse as any.

“’He stood up and he was the man of the house when I couldn’t be”

Not if he was the catcher (or pitcher for that fact).

" If it's a public school, he shouldn't be kicked out for that as the transaction and occurrence is not on school grounds. There's no jurisdiction, as much as that pisses off the school bureaucrats. "

I do not agree with what he did and his mother needs to be fixed so she can't be a mother to any other children. BUT... The school should not be able to kick him out if all he did was a legal job and nothing happened on the school grounds. What I saw on TV clearly stated that it was not this boy who brought the pics to school or was passing them around. That was done by others. How about we charge those kids with supplying Porn to minors?

We don't live far from where a high school boy was expelled from school for having a legal shotgun in his vehicle. Law enforcement was called but refused to arrest him or issue a citation because they found that he had not broken any laws. His truck was parked more than a block from school grounds, he was in legal possession of the firearm, it was properly unloaded and secured inside of his vehicle. The school principle, an anti gun zealot, decided to press the issue and got him expelled.

The net result was that the NRA got into the issue with their lawyers, the school board backed down and kissed the kids butt trying to get cover their own butts and they still got sued and lost. The next election every member of that school board was voted out and the principle involved left for greener pastures.

Like it or not this situation is exactly the same. This boy has a legal job, is not under age, and did not break any laws or do anything wrong on the school grounds. The school has no right to punish him in any way because of the principle's, or school boards personal beliefs.

He soon will not have to be a porn actor. The proceeds from the litigation will cover their bills for a long time.

Taking another man up the bum doesn't seem very manly to me.

Why isn’t Mom “walking the streets”?
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =
If THAT Mom were a ‘street walker’ and came home with 75 dollars and 25 cents for a nights ‘work’ and someone said
“What cheap SOB gave you a quarter”.

“ALL OF THEM”.

Take an awful lot of booze to ‘get up with her’.

out on their asses they go.

"When the porn started coming into the school via cellphones and hallway discussion, it entered the realm of school actionable items."

What I saw during the interview that is talked about here is that the kid who was kicked out did not bring the pics to school and was not the one showing them around. He broke no law or school policy or rule. If any of those other students were showing pornographic pictures or videos on the school campus it is they who broke the law, rules, and violated school policy.

It surprises me that none of them have been charged with supplying porn to a minor. I guess that the state laws there are different than in other states.

I tend to agree with your comments but

I was wondering how ALL would react if an 18 year old girl was working in a strip club OR being a prostitute or starred in Porn.

One would think the school could act, if for nothing else, on the distraction the party(s) were causing.

“Devils Advocate”....

Those that actually brought the gay porn into the schools should have been dinged for it. If Benny Dover brought it in to make fun of the guy, then Benny should have been nailed for it. Pun intended. It’s not like he didn’t have a choice on viewing it and bringing it in. “You have to make an appointment for that folks” as Sam Kinison would say.

I'd have the same stance. While I may not personally approve, it's not school's jurisdiction.

I also think school bureaucrats and their power games are more harmful than social vices, but that's another discussion.

When Sarah sends it to Sharon who sends it to James on the football team, only one person brought it to the (possibly offschool) environment (and another shared it). The chain of distribtion could flow from there. I doubt they all went to the site, enrolled, and paid for copies.
