Anyone who rides a motorcycle will tell you that theres nothing like the thrill of riding headlong on the open road with the wind in your face and worries at your back. A motorcycle is truly one of mans best friends. But what if someone changed the formula a formula, mind you, thats been relatively unchanged for a over a hundred years.
Chris Hoffmann may just be that man, and his one-wheeled RYNO motorcycle may be the next great invention in the motorcycle world.
But what exactly is a RYNO?

I have a small wheeled Two Wheel Electric Bike that does 20 mph..[ conservatively...and without folling with the electronics...ahem...for forty miles...and cost less than half of the RYNO.
I can ride it on the street or on bike trails. it has enormous torque and can get off the line...very rapidly...very handy in tricky situations.
Im sure there are plenty of people in this county Marin County CA..who will buy a ryno just to show it off...

I can ride a bike faster than 10 mph... It's a Segway on one wheel - smells like something the Post Office would waste money on.
RYNO - stands for Republicans Yelling Nasty Obscenities at the fool on one of these in front of them.

There might be one practical application for this “vehicle.”
We could give one RYNO to each RINO in Congress and the GOPe and force them to ride the things down the Dan Ryan Expressway at 4PM on a Friday afternoon.

Top speed? Range? Torque? Top speed is 10 miles an hour so you can't chase a purse-snatcher with it, and range is 10 miles. Don't know about the torque.

To: Las Vegas Ron
you can't do a wheelie! On the contrary. You can't NOT do a wheelie.

I’ll keep my Vintage, retro, avuncular, old-fashioned 1993 HDFXR Superglide, thank you very much.
LOL.
To: nascarnation
I will of course try anything but, not well suited for the purpose of biking

How do you pull a wheelie on it? Hit a speed bump at top speed although depending on how heavy it is you probably won't bounce very high.

10 MPH for one hour? Are they high? That’s not reasonable for even a short commute!

What happens when the ECU experiences the BSOD? You fall down, go boom, scrape, ow! And hopefully you don't get flattened in traffic.

And very limited. All mono-wheels are. Fun for the circus but that is their limit.
